Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) untuk mengetahui implementasi kurikulum merdeka pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMAN 42 Jakarta; (2) untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMAN 42 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang dilakukan di SMAN 42 Jakarta sebagai sekolah pertama yang menggunakan kurikulum merdeka khususnya pada mata pelajaran biologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, survey berupa kuesioner, dan dokumentasi. Adapun indikator yang digunakan untuk melihat sejauh mana implementasi kurikulum merdeka pada mata pelajaran biologi, yaitu (1) aktivitas belajar, (2) proses belajar, (3) alokasi waktu, (4) sumber belajar, (5) hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian pada implementasi kurikulum merdeka pada mata pelajaran biologi; (1) jumlah jawaban setuju 133 dan sangat setuju berjumlah 59 terhadap 5 pernyataan indikator aktivitas belajar, (2) jumlah jawaban setuju 124 dan sangat setuju berjumlah 21 terhadap 5 pernyataan indikator proses belajar, (3) jumlah jawaban setuju 193 dan sangat setuju berjumlah 24 terhadap 5 pernyataan indikator alokasi waktu, (4) jumlah jawaban setuju 171 dan sangat setuju berjumlah 50 terhadap 5 pernyataan indikator sumber belajar, (5) jumlah jawaban setuju 149 dan sangat setuju berjumlah 12 terhadap 5 pernyataan indikator hasil belajar. Dengan demikian, implementasi kurikulum merdeka pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMAN 42 Jakarta telah terlaksana dengan baik dan efektif. Hasil penelitian ini akan dijadikan sebagai masukan dan bahan pertimbangan dalam menerapkan program baru dari kurikulum merdeka pada mata pelajaran biologi di SMAN 42 Jakarta. Kata Kunci: Analisis, Biologi, Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, Peserta Didik / This study aimed to: (1) determine the implementation of the independent curriculum in the biology subject at SMAN 42 Jakarta; and (2) identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing the independent curriculum in the biology subject at SMAN 42 Jakarta. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method and was conducted at SMAN 42 Jakarta as the first school to implement the independent curriculum, particularly in the biology subject. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, surveys in the form of questionnaires, and documentation. The indicators used to assess the extent of the implementation of the independent curriculum in the biology subject were: (1) learning activities, (2) the learning process, (3) time allocation, (4) learning resources, and (5) learning outcomes. The results of the study on the implementation of the independent curriculum in the biology subject were as follows: (1) the number of “agree” responses was 133 and “strongly agree” responses amounted to 59 for 5 statements on the learning activity indicators; (2) the number of “agree” responses was 124 and “strongly agree” responses amounted to 21 for 5 statements on the learning process indicators; (3) the number of “agree” responses was 193 and “strongly agree” responses amounted to 24 for 5 statements on the time allocation indicators; (4) the number of “agree” responses was 171 and “strongly agree” responses amounted to 50 for 5 statements on the learning resource indicators; (5) the number of “agree” responses was 149 and “strongly agree” responses amounted to 12 for 5 statements on the learning outcome indicators. Thus, the implementation of the independent curriculum in the biology subject at SMAN 42 Jakarta was carried out well and effectively. The results of this study were used as input and consideration in implementing the new program of the independent curriculum in the biology subject at SMAN 42 Jakarta.
