Abstract

Film adalah media komunikasi yang dapat memengaruhi dan memberikan informasi kepada penonton melalui audio dan visual yang ditampilkan. Dengan banyaknya jenis film saat ini, penonton dapat memilih film sesuai dengan minat masing-masing atau yang disebut sebagai genre. Genre berfungsi untuk membantu pengguna media atau penonton untuk merencanakan pilihan film yang akan ditonton. Film Kaka Boss adalah salah satu genre yang menggabungkan dua genre yaitu drama dan komedi. Film ini menampilkan budaya dari orang Indonesia Timur yang disutradarai oleh Arie Kriting. Tujuan film kaka boss adalah untuk menampilkan sisi lain dari orang Indonesia Timur yang jarang ditampilkan pada layar kaca. Penelitian ini untuk mencari tahu apakah ada pengaruh dari tayangan film drama komedi (Kaka Boss) terhadap persepsi penonton mengenai stereotip orang Indonesia Timur dan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh tayangan film drama komedi (Kaka Boss) dalam mempengaruhi persepsi penonton. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori genre. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil bahwa ada pengaruh antara film drama komedi dengan persepsi penonton tentang stereotip orang Indonesia Timur. Hal ini ditunjukkan pada nilai korelasi yaitu 0,425 yang berarti memiliki pengaruh yang tergolong seimbang. Berdasarkan uji t, film drama komedi (X) berpengaruh terhadap persepsi penonton (Y) dengan nilai t hitung 1.991 dengan nilai signifikansi <0.001 kurang dari signifikansi 0,05. Hal ini berarti H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima karena nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t-tabel yaitu 1.660 (1.991>1.660). Dari hasil uji regresi linier sederhana, dapat diketahui bahwa hasil koefiesien determinasi nilai R-square adalah 0,257. Ini menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 25,7% film drama komedi (kaka boss) memiliki pengaruh terhadap persepsi penonton sementara sekitar 74,3% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini telah menjawab rumusan masalah yaitu adanya pengaruh dari tayangan film drama komedi terhadap persepsi penonton tentang stereotip orang Indonesia Timur, dan film drama komedi memiliki pengaruh sebesar 25,7%. With the many types of movies today, viewers can choose movies according to their respective interests or what is referred to as a genre. Genres serve to help media users or viewers to plan the choice of movies to watch. Kaka Boss is one of the genres that combines two genres, namely drama and comedy. This film showcases the culture of the East Indonesians directed by Arie Kriting. The purpose of the Kaka Boss film is to show another side of Eastern Indonesians that is rarely shown on the screen. This study was to find out whether there was an influence of the screening of comedy drama films (Kaka Boss) on the audience's perception of stereotypes of Eastern Indonesians and to find out how much influence the show of comedy drama films (Kaka Boss) in influencing the audience's perception. The theory genre. This study found that there is an influence between comedy drama films and the audience's perception of stereotypes of Eastern Indonesians. This is shown in the correlation value of 0.425 which means that it has a balanced influence. Based on the t-test, comedy drama films (X) have an effect on the perception of the audience (Y) with a t-value of 1.991 with a significance value of <0.001 less than a significance of 0.05. This means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because the t-value is greater than the t-table, which is 1.660 (1.991>1.660). From the results of the simple linear regression test, it can be seen that the coefficient result of determining the R-square value is 0.257. This shows that about 25.7% of comedy drama films (kaka boss) have an influence on audience perception while around 74.3% are influenced by other factors. Therefore, it can be concluded that this study has answered the formulation of the problem, namely the influence of comedy drama films on the audience's perception of stereotypes of Eastern Indonesians, and comedy drama films have an influence of 25.7%.
