Abstract

Pola Asuh biasanya didefinisikan sebagai model dalam memelihara dan mendidik anak. Pola asuh mencakup sistem, cara, yang digunakan atau diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari terhadap anak, termasuk cara mengasuh, membina, mengarahkan, membimbing dan memimpin anak. Emosi adalah keadaan suatu organisme pada suatu waktu tertentu yang ditandai dengan gradasi afektif mulai dari yang lemah hingga yang kuat, seperti tidak terlalu kecewa dan sangat kecewa. Manusia dapat mengalami berbagai emosi seperti sedih, gembira, kecewa, benci, cinta atau marah. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai dampak pola asuh ibu tunggal terhadap emosi remaja di GBKP Tanjung Priok. Tujuan penelitian yaitu 1) Mengetahui pola asuh ibu tunggal terhadap remaja. 2) Mengetahui emosi yang dihasilkan dari pola asuh ibu tunggal di GBKP Tanjung Priok, sehingga melalui penelitian ini dapat mencapai tujuan yang sudah ditentukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan proses observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penulis memiliki responden diantaranya 5 ibu tunggal, dan 5 remaja yang di asuh oleh ibu tunggal di GBKP Tanjung Priok. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu 1) Dalam pola asuh, empat dari lima ibu tunggal menggunakan pola asuh demokratis adapun ciri dari pola asuh tersebut yaitu kesempatan anak untuk berpendapat dan memberi pujian ataupun hadiah kepada perilaku yang benar. Sedangkan satu dari kelima ibu tunggal menggunakan pola asuh otoriter campuran, yang dimana anak harus mengikuti semua kemauan ibu dan harus patuh terhadap semua aturan yang di buat oleh ibu. 2) Ibu dengan pola asuh yang demokratis menghasilkan emosi yang senang, karena remaja diberikan kesempatan untuk mengutarakan yang dipikirkannya. Namun ibu pola asuh otoriter campuran menghasilkan emosi marah karena anak harus mengikuti semua kemauan ibu dan harus patuh pada aturan. Remaja menyatakan bahwa sudah menjadi contoh dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Maka, ibu sudah mencerminkan Kristus sebagai prioritas utama dalam hidupnya. Sehingga remaja juga akan menjadikan Allah sebagai teladan dalam hidupnya.// Parenting is usually defined as a model in caring for and educating children. Parenting includes systems, methods, used or applied in everyday life towards children, including how to care for, foster, direct, guide and lead children. Emotion is a state of an organism at a certain time which is characterized by affective gradations ranging from weak to strong, such as not too disappointed and very disappointed. Humans can experience various emotions such as sadness, joy, disappointment, hate, love or anger. This study discusses the impact of single mother parenting on adolescent emotions at GBKP Tanjung Priok. The objectives of the study are 1) To determine the parenting patterns of single mothers towards adolescents. 2) To determine the emotions resulting from single mother parenting patterns at GBKP Tanjung Priok, so that through this study the predetermined objectives can be achieved. This study uses descriptive qualitative with observation, interview and documentation processes. The author has respondents including 5 single mothers, and 5 adolescents who are cared for by single mothers at GBKP Tanjung Priok. The results of this study are: 1) In parenting patterns, four out of five single mothers use democratic parenting patterns, the characteristics of this parenting pattern are the opportunity for children to express their opinions about why they violate the rules before punishment is imposed, punishment is given to wrong behavior, and giving praise or rewards to correct behavior. While one out of five single mothers uses a mixed authoritarian parenting pattern, the characteristics of this parenting pattern are that children must follow all the mother's wishes and must obey all the rules made by the mother. 2) Through the parenting patterns used by single mothers, the emotions produced by adolescents are happy, because adolescents are given the opportunity to express what they think. However, the emotions produced by mixed authoritarian parenting patterns are angry emotions because children are sometimes not allowed to give advice or opinions. Adolescents state that they have become examples in everyday life. So, mothers have reflected Christ as the main priority in their lives. So that adolescents will also make God a role model in their lives.
