Abstract

Gempuran media sebagai intensitas keadaan khalayak yang mendapat pesan-pesan yang disebarkan oleh suatu media. Salah satu media sosial yang menjadi trend saat ini yaitu media sosial TikTok. TikTok menjadi platform digital pilihan masyarakat untuk mendapatkan hiburan dan pengetahuan serta berbagi keseruan yang dibagikan oleh konten kreator TikTok. Salah satu konten kreator TikTok dalam edukasi terkait dunia pekerjaan yaitu TikTok @vmuliana. Vina Muliana membagikan konten terkait memperbaharui CV, informasi lowongan pekerjaan, bagaimana cara menjawab pertanyaan pada saat interview, dan masih banyak lagi konten TikTok yang di buat oleh Vina Muliana. Sehingga, pengguna TikTok sering mendapatkan terpaan media dari konten TikTok @vmuliana melalui video, caption, maupun gambar sehingga timbul motivasi mencari kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh dan seberapa besar pengaruh terpaan konten TikTok @vmuliana terhadap motivasi mencari kerja (Survei dilakukan pada pengikut @vmuliana di TikTok.) Teori S-O-R dan motivasi mencari kerja menurut Abraham Maslow yang digunakan pada penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling dengan menggunakan rumus slovin berjumlah 100 responden. Berdasarkan perhitungan dengan uji T menyatakan temuan hasil t hitung > t tabel (11,905 > 1,984) maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, dan terpaan media konten TikTok @vmuliana berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi mencari kerja. Kata Kunci: Terpaan media, TikTok @vmuliana, Motivasi. / Media exposure is the intensity of the audience's situation where they are exposed to messages spread by a media. One of the social media that is currently trending is TikTok social media. TikTok is the digital platform of choice for people to get entertainment and knowledge and share the fun shared by TikTok creator content. One of the TikTok content creators in education related to the world of work is TikTok @vmuliana. Vina Muliana shares content related to updating CVs, job vacancy information, how to answer questions during interviews, and much more TikTok content created by Vina Muliana. Thus, TikTok users often get media exposure from @vmuliana's TikTok content through videos, captions, and images so that motivation to find work arises. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence and how much influence the exposure of TikTok @vmuliana content has on motivation to find work (survey of TikTok @vmuliana followers). The theory used is the S-O-R theory and motivation to seek work according to Abraham Maslow. This study uses a survey method and the sample uses simple random sampling using the slovin formula totalling 100 respondents. Based on calculations with the T test, the results state that t count > t table (11.905 > 1.984) then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected and media exposure to TikTok @vmuliana content has a significant influence on motivation to find work.
