Abstract

Minat belajar merupakan syarat penting dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar sebab minat merupakan pendorong bagi peserta didik dalam belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen (PAK). Tetapi seringkali perserta didik kehilangan minat belajar . Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak pelaksanaan metode ceramah terhadap minat belajar peserta didik kelas XI pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di SMK Bhakti 1 Jakarta. Metode ceramah, sebagai metode pengajaran tradisional, menjadi fokus utama penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk menilai efektivitasnya dalam merangsang minat belajar peserta didik. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data diperoleh melalui wawancara kepada guru dan peserta didik. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI sebanyak 5 orang. Hasil observasi dianalisis untuk menentukan sejauh mana metode ceramah memengaruhi partisipasi peserta didik, tingkat keterlibatan, dan minat belajar mereka. Wawancara mendalam dengan guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen memberikan perspektif tambahan mengenai kendala dan tantangan dalam pelaksanaan metode ceramah. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan kualitatif untuk memahami temuan dan implikasi penelitian. Temuan dalam penelitian ini bahwa penggunaan metode ceramah yang digunakan oleh guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen tidak membuat peserta didik memahami materi pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen dengan baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan metode ceramah pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen kurang efektif dalam merangsang minat belajar peserta didik kelas XI. Faktor-faktor seperti kurangnya interaktifitas, ketidakrelevanan materi dengan kehidupan sehari-hari peserta didik, dan kurangnya variasi dalam penyampaian menjadi kendala utama dalam mencapai minat belajar yang optimal. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat memberikan dasar bagi perbaikan strategi pengajaran yang lebih beragam dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik untuk meningkatkan minat belajar pada mata pelajaran tersebut. / Monica Ayu Lestari 2023, Christian Religious Education, FKIP-UKI Interest in learning is an important requirement in teaching and learning activities because interest is a driving force for students in learning Christian Religious Education (PAK). But often students lose interest in learning. So this research aims to determine the impact of implementing the lecture method on class XI students' interest in learning in Christian Religious Education subjects at SMK Bhakti 1 Jakarta. The lecture method, as a traditional teaching method, is the main focus of this research with the aim of assessing its effectiveness in stimulating students' interest in learning. Using a qualitative approach, data was obtained through interviews with teachers and students. The informants in this research were 5 class XI students. The observation results were analyzed to determine the extent to which the lecture method influenced students' participation, level of engagement, and their interest in learning. In-depth interviews with Christian Religious Education teachers provide additional perspectives regarding the obstacles and challenges in implementing the lecture method. The data obtained was then analyzed using a qualitative approach to understand the research findings and implications. The findings in this research are that the use of the lecture method used by Christian Religious Education teachers does not make students understand Christian Religious Education subject matter well. The results of the research show that the implementation of the lecture method in Christian Religious Education subjects is less effective in stimulating class XI students' interest in learning. Factors such as lack of interactivity, irrelevance of material to students' daily lives, and lack of variety in delivery are the main obstacles in achieving optimal learning interest. The implications of this research can provide a basis for improving teaching strategies that are more diverse and in line with students' needs to increase interest in learning in these subject
