Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian untuk mengetahui efektivitas Project Based Learning pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen terhadap minat belajar peserta didik SMA Negeri 39 Jakarta. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan penulis selama Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan melihat bahwa keaktifan dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik masih rendah pada Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Faktor rendahnya keaktifan dan kemampuan cara berpikir kreatif siswa diantaranya adalah proses pembelajaran yang belum mangoptimalkan keaktifan dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa, itu sebabnya diperlukan suatu pola atau model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami penyebab kurangnya minat belajar siswa dan menciptakan solusi untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dari Kerucut pengalaman oleh Edgard Dalle yang penulis sinkronkan dengan teori Pestalozzi sehingga penulis menemukan bahwa pentingnya menggunakan pengalaman nyata melalui pancaindra dan spiritual saat melakukan pembelajaran Agama Kristen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan tipe deskriptif untuk memperoleh data dari1 guru dan 9 peserta didik SMA N 39 Jakarta melalui sumber data yaitu, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari metode tersebut penulis mendapatkan hasil dari 10 responden: (1) Pembelajaran Agama Kristen yang dilakukan dengan metode pembelajaran sebelumnya terasa monoton dan membosankan, sehingga peserta didik tidak merasakan pengalaman nyata dan spiritual. (2) Project Based Learning sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan belajar di kelas dengan menerapkan teori Pestalozzi tentang pentingnya menyertakan pancaindra dalam belajar di kelas. (3) Model pembelajaran sangat menentukan minat belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan metode Project Based Learning memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik Pendidikan agama Kristen di SMA N 39 Jakarta. / This study is a research aimed at determining the effectiveness of Project Based Learning in the subject of Christian Religion on the learning interest of students at SMA Negeri 39 Jakarta. Based on the researcher's observations during the Field Experience Practice, it is evident that the students' level of engagement and creative thinking abilities in the Christian Religion class is still low. Some of the reasons for the low level of student engagement and creative thinking abilities include instructional methods that have not maximized student engagement and creative thinking abilities. Therefore, a learning pattern or model is needed to enhance student engagement and creative thinking abilities. This research aims to understand the causes of students' lack of learning interest and to create solutions to improve their learning interest. The theory used in this research is derived from the Cone of Experience by Edgar Dale, which the researcher synchronizes with Pestalozzi's theory. As a result, the researcher found the importance of incorporating real and spiritual experiences in teaching Christian Religion. The research methodology used is qualitative with a descriptive type to obtain data from teachers and students at SMA N 39 Jakarta through sources such as observation, interviews, and documentation. From these methods, the researcher obtained results from 9 respondents: (1) The previous teaching methods in Christian Religion felt monotonous and boring, resulting in students not experiencing real and spiritual experiences. (2) Project Based Learning is highly effective in increasing classroom engagement by applying Pestalozzi's theory, emphasizing the inclusion of sensory experiences in the learning process. (3) The learning model significantly influences the learning interest in Christian Religion Education. Based on the findings of this research, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning approach has great potential in enhancing the learning interest of Christian Religion students SMA N 39 Jakarta.
