Abstract

Persepsi dapat diartikan sebagai ungkapan tentang pengalaman terhadap suatu benda ataupun suatu kejadian yang dialami dan mengorganisir data-data indra (pengindraan) untuk dikembangkan sedemikian rupa, aktivitas penilaian dalam pemikiran seseorang setelah menerima rangsangan dari apa yang sudah dirasakan oleh pancaindra. Rangsangan tersebut kemudian berkembang menjadi suatu pemahaman yang akhirnya membuat seseorang memiliki suatu pemikiran terkait suatu kasus atau kejadian yang sedang terjadi. Maka dari itu penelitian ini ingin mengetahui bagaimana persepsi generasi muda tentang toxic influencer dalam konten mobile legends. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep persepsi dan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, serta teknik wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview) sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kelima informan menyatakan bahwa persepsi generasi muda terhadap toxic influencer Oura dalam konten mobile legends, sebanyak empat dari lima informan menyatakan bahwa Oura membawa sikap buruk kedalam dirinya masing-masing sehingga mereka berempat ikut menggunakan kata-kata kasar ketika sedang bermain game mobile legends, sedangkan satu orang informan lainnya mengutarakan bahwa tidak terbawa ke lingkungannya karena dia tidak peduli dengan kata-kata kasar yang dilontarkan Oura. Ditemukan juga kelima informan mempersepsikan bahwa menonton konten Oura yang sangat toxic itu, ada keseruan tersendiri bagi para informan, hal ini diungkapkan lima informan dengan mengatakan bahwa cara pembawaannya sangat seru, lucu dan sambil teriak-teriak, situasi tersebut menjadi daya tariknya. Selanjutnya ketiga informan menemukan kata “JINGKONTOD”. Kata tersebut adalah tiga kata kasar yang dijadikan satu oleh Oura, yaitu kata “ANJING”, “KONTOL”, dan “NGENTOD” dalam konten Oura. Dan satu informan lainnya mengungkapkan kata-kata bernuansa SARA yang menghina orang dengan kata Jawir atau Jawa Ireng (Hitam). Kata Kunci: Persepsi, Toxic Influencer, Mobile Legends. / Perception can be interpreted as an expression of the experience of an object or an event experienced and organizing sensory data (sensing) to be developed in such a way, assessment activities in one's thinking after receiving stimuli from what has been felt by the senses. The stimulation then develops into an understanding that ultimately makes a person have a thought related to a case or event that is happening. Therefore, this study wants to know how the perception of young people about toxic influencers in mobile legends content. This study uses the concept of perception and descriptive qualitative research methods, as well as in-depth interview techniques (in-depth interview) as a technique of data collection.The results of this study show that the five informants state that the perception of young generations to toxic Oura influencers in mobile legends content, the report said, as many as four out of five informants stated that Oura brought a bad attitude into each of them so that the four of them were using harsh words while playing mobile legends games, while one other informant said that they did not get carried away to their environment because he did not care about the harsh words that were thrown Oura. It was also found that the five informants perceived that watching Oura's very toxic content, there is a special excitement for informants, it is expressed by five informants by saying that the way the carrier is very exciting, funny and while screaming, the situation becomes the attraction. Furthermore, the three informants found the word “JINGKONTOD”.The word is three harsh words that were made into one by Oura, namely the words “ANJING”, “KONTOL”, and “NGENTOD” in Oura content. And one other informant revealed SARA-inspired words that insulted people with the words Jawir or Jawa Ireng (Black). Key Words: Perception, Toxic Influencer, Mobile Legends.
