Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan utama untuk mencapai tiga hal. Pertama, mengembangkan modul Spermatophyta berbasis pendekatan saintifik yang akan diterapakan di kelas X SMA 1 Cawang Baru Jakarta. Kedua, menilai kelayakan modul Spermatophyta berbasis pendekatan tersebut. Ketiga mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap materi Spermatophyta yang di ajarkan menggunakan pendekatan saintifik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan guru mata pelajaran biologi dan penyebaran angket analisis kebutuhan belajar siswa untuk mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan. Selanjutnya, modul yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh tiga ahli, yakni ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa. Modul ini memiliki karakteristik khusus, yaitu menggunakan langkah-langkah pendekatan saintifik, yaitu mengamati, menanya, mengumpulkan informasi, mengasosiasi dan mengkomunikasikan. Hasil validasi menujukkan bahwa modul ini sangat valid dengan persentase rata-rata indeks tertinggi mencapai 1,00 yang berarti sangat valid. Sedangkan persentase indeks terendah dari ahli materi, ahli media, dan ahli bahasa mencapai 0,66 dengan kategori valid. Tanggapan dari 33 siswa yang mengikuti penelitian ini juga sangat positif, dengan skor tertingi mencapai 144 dan persentase 87% dari skor maksimum yang diharapkan. Sementara skor terendah mencapai 81% dari skor maksimum yang diharapakan. Dari hasil persepsi siswa sebagian besar berada pada kategori sangat setuju dengan persentase tingkat persetujuan 1-25 Kata Kunci: Pengembangan modul, berbasis pendekatan saintifik, Spermatophyta, Kelayakan, Respon Siswa. / This research was conducted with the main objective to achieve there things. First developing the spermatophyta module based on ascientific approach which will be applied in class X SMA 1 Cawang Baru Jakarta. Second,asseing the feasibility of the spermatophyta module based on tjis approach. This third is knowing students responses to spermatophyta material whicih is taught using a scientific approach. The method use in this research is Research and Development (R&D). data was collected through interviews with biology teachers and distributing questiosnaires to analyz students learning needs to obtain the required information. Furthermore, the modules developed were validated by three experts,namely material experts, media experts, and linguists. This module has special characteristics, namely using the steps of a scientific approach, namely observing,asking, gathering information, associating and communicating. The validation results show that this module is very valid with the highest average index percentage reaching 1.00 which means it is very valid. While the lowest index percentage of material experts, media experts and linguists reached 0.66 with a valid category. The responses from the 33 students who took part in this study were also very positive, with the higest score reaching 144 and and a percentage of 87% of the expected maximum score. While the lowest score reaches 81% of the expected maximum score. From the results of the students perceptions,most of them are in thecategory of strongly agree with the percentage level of agreement 1-25.
