Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas XI di SMAN 61 Jakarta mengunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Students Teams Achievement Divisions) pada pelajaran kimia materi koloid. Jenis pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan metode yang digunakan adalah metode Quasi Eksperimental. Populasi pada penelitian ini meliputi siswa kelas XI SMAN 61 Jakarta T.A 2023/2024 dan sampel diambil dari kelas XI MIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas XI MIPA 2 sebabgai eskperimen, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel mengunakan porposive sampling. Pada kelas eskperimen siswa diberikan perlakukan mengunakan pembelajaran kooepratif tipe STAD (Students Teams Achievement Divisions) dan kelas kontrol mengunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional (caramah dan tanya jawab). Penelitian ini mengunakan instrumen test dalam bentuk soal essay yang terdiri dari instrumen pretest dan posttest dengan jumlah 10 butir soal. Pretest diberikan sebelum kegiatan pembelajaran dimulai yang bertujuan untuk mengukur kemampuan awal siswa dan posttest diberikan sesudah kegiatan pembelajaran dilaksanakan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sesudah diberikan perlakukan. Uji Prasyarat yang dilakukan berupa uji parameterik yaitu uji normalitas mengunakan teknik Kolmogorov-Smirnov didapatkan nilai signifikansi >0,05 dan uji homogenitas mengunakan uji Levene test didapatkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,374, 0,409, 0,409, 369 > 0,05. Kemudian uji Hipotesis mengunakan Paired Sampel t-test dengan taraf signifikansi < 0,05 dengan bantuan SPSS 25.00 for windows. Hasil dari analisis data dan Pengujian Hipotesis yang didapatkan, maka terjadi peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada pelajaran kimia materi koloid mengunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD (Students Teams Achievement Divisions) yang dapat dilihat pada perolehan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,609 pada kelas eksperimen dan 330 pada kelas kontrol yang menunjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Kata Kunci : Kimia, Kemampuan Berpikri Kritis, Pembelajaran Kooperatif,STAD. / ABSTRACT This Research aims to determine the increase in critical thinking skills of class XI students of SMAN 61 Jakarta by using the STAD (Students Teams Achievement Divisions) cooperative learning model in colloid chemistry subject. The type of approach used in this research is quantitative and the method used is Quasi Experimental method. The population in this study included students in class XI SMAN 61 Jakarta T.A 2023/2024 and samples were taken from class XI MIPA 3 as the control class and class XI MIPA 2 as an experiment, with a sampling technique using porposive sampling. In the experimental class, students were treated using cooperative learning type STAD (Students Teams Achievement Divisions) and the control class used conventional learning methods (chat and answer questions). This study used test instruments in the form of essay questions consisting of pretest and posttest instruments with a total of 10 items. The pretest is given before the learning activities begin which aims to measure students' initial abilities and the posttest is given after the learning activities are carried out which aims to determine the increase in students' critical thinking skills after being given treatment. The prerequisite test was carried out in the form of a parameter test, namely the normality test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov technique obtained a significance value of > 0.05 and the homogeneity test using the Levene test obtained a significance value of 0.374, 0.409, 0.409, 369 > 0.05. Then test the hypothesis using the Paired Sample t-test with a significance level <0.05 with the help of SPSS 25.00 for windows. The results of data analysis and hypothesis testing obtained, there is an increase in students' critical thinking skills in colloidal chemistry lessons using the STAD (Students Teams Achievement Divisions) cooperative learning model which can be seen in the acquisition of an average N-Gain score of 0.609 in class experimental and 330 in the control class which shows an increase in students' critical thinking skills.
