Abstract

Kolaborasi ini bertema “I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Right”. The World Economic Forum reports that Indonesia is ranked 92nd out of 146 countries in the world. In the report, Indonesia is below the global average of 0.169 for the index of women's empowerment in the political field. Women's participation in politics is important for voicing women's fundamental rights which have so far been limited and can accelerate the progress of the nation. Thus, it is necessary to spread knowledge of women's human rights and it is important to change the mindset of Indonesian women who have been affected by the negative stigma about women in society. In 2020, UN Women collaborated with Netflix in releasing the film genre "Because She Watched" which contains more than fifty films about women's empowerment.
