Abstract

Permasalahan yang terjadi pada siswa kelas VIII dan IX di SMPN 268 Jakarta Timur ialah terdapat beberapa siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengembangkan diri karena tidak mengetahui potensi efikasi diri yang dimiliki. Keadaan demikian membuat siswa menjadi tidak percaya diri dalam menghadapi realita sosial terutama dalam statusnya sebagai pelajar.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai sejauh mana Peran Layanan Bimbingan Pribadi-Soial Dalam Meningkatkan Efikasi Diri Siswa SMP Negeri 268 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek peneliti remaja SMP 268 Jakarta kelas VII dan IX di Jakarta. Penelitian mendapati 10 orang responden yang diwawacarai dari hasil kuesioner, peneliti menggunakan langkah-langkah wawancara, dokumen dan dokumentasi. Peneliti juga melakukan pengecekan keabsahan data dengan teknik menggunakan triangulasi. Melalui penelitian ini didapati hasil bahwa keyakinan diri dalam menjalankan suatu tugas merupakan hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan kendala atau hambatan dalam mengerjakan tugas sekolah. Masalah diantaranya yaitu sulit memahami pelajaran bahasa inggris, tidak menyelesaikan tugas serta sulit memahami pelajaran lainya yang diberikan oleh guru. Kata kunci: Efikasi, Layanan, Siswa./ The problem that occurs in class VIII and IX students at SMPN 268 East Jakarta is that some students experience difficulties in developing themselves because they do not know their potential for self-efficacy. Such a situation makes students feel insecure in facing social reality, especially in their status as students. The purpose of this research is to obtain information about the extent to which the role of Personal-Social Guidance Services is in Improving the Self-Efficacy of Students at SMP Negeri 268 Jakarta. This study used descriptive qualitative with the research subjects being adolescents at SMP 268 Jakarta, grades VII and IX in Jakarta. The research found 10 respondents who were interviewed from the results of the questionnaire, the researchers used interview steps, documents and documentation. Researchers also checked the validity of the data by using triangulation techniques. Through this research, it was found that self-confidence in carrying out a task is related to obstacles or obstacles in doing school work. Problems include difficulty understanding English lessons, not completing assignments and difficulty understanding other lessons given by the teacher. Keywords: Efficacy, Service, Students
