Abstract

kawasan Indo-Pasifik secara geostrategis beragam yang terdiri dari berbagai aktor yang mencakup rezim demokratis dan otoriter, negara maju dan berkembang, kekuatan kontinental dan maritim serta berbagai keberpihakan. Geografi strategis Australia pada umumnya menentukan bentuk dan luasan kekuatan pertahanannya. Tren ekonomi, militer, dan politik yang muncul dikawasan Indo-Pasifik telah menciptakan kesadaran bagi Australia untuk lebih mengamankan kawasan dan domain maritimnya. Sebagaimana Rivalitas kebijakan “Belt and Road” dan kebijakan “Free and open Indo - Pacific” sebagai tindakan reaksioner menjadi unit pengamatan, Pada penelitian ini berpendapat bahwa keamanan maritim di Indo-Pasifik menghadapi tantangan dan peluang dalam konteks konektivitas tersebut. Hubungan dengan Amerika Serikat dan Tiongkok dalam beberapa tahun terakhir telah menentukan postur geopolitik Australia. Penelitian untuk menganalisis bagaimana Implementasi strategi keamanan maritim Australia dikawasan Indo - Pasifik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, wawancara dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dengan menggunakan Konsep Bandwagoning, sebagai alat pembantu analisis implementasi strategi keamanan maritim Australia. Hasil penelitian selanjutnya menunjukkan bahwa unit analisis menciptakan tantangan keamanan maritim di kawasan. Perkembangan tersebut dievaluasi dalam hal prospek kerjasama atau persaingan regional dengan penekanan pada pilihan bagi Australia dan Amerika Serikat dalam membentuk strategi terpadu./ the Indo-Pacific region is geostrategically diverse consisting of various actors including democratic and authoritarian regimes, developed and developing countries, continental and maritime powers and various alignments. Australia's strategic geography largely determines the shape and extent of its defense forces. Emerging economic, military and political trends in the Indo-Pacific region have created awareness for Australia to better secure its maritime region and domain. As the rivalry of the “Belt and Road” policy and the “Free and open Indo-Pacific” policy as a reactionary action becomes the unit of observation, this study argues that maritime security in the Indo-Pacific faces challenges and opportunities in the context of this connectivity. Relations with the United States and China in recent years have determined Australia's geopolitical posture. Research to analyze how the implementation of Australia's maritime security strategy in the Indo-Pacific region. This type of research is descriptive research through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, interviews and drawing conclusions. By using the Bandwagoning Concept, as a tool for analyzing the implementation of Australia's maritime security strategy. The results of further research indicate that the unit of analysis creates maritime security challenges in the region. These developments are evaluated in terms of prospects for regional cooperation or competition with an emphasis on options for Australia and the United States in forming a unified strategy
