Abstract
Salah Satu Komoditi yang dapat memberikan sumbangsih penting dalam meningkatkan ekonomi dan penghasil devisa negara di Indonesia adalah kopi. Indonesia terkenal dengan berbagai jenis kopi dengan cita rasa yang berbeda-beda salah satunya adalah kopi Arabika. Tingginya produksi kopi di Jawa Barat, berdampak pada persaingan para pelaku usaha, dan dituntut untuk menyadari bahwa persaingan yang terjadi merupakan persaingan antar jaringan rantai pasokan. Kopi termasuk dalam kategori Produk pertanian yang memiliki sifat mudah rusak, disamping itu proses penanaman, pertumbuhan dan dapat dipanen memiliki ketergantungan yang tinggi terhadap iklim, musim juga keterampilan dalam budidaya, hasil panen kopi juga sangat variative biasanya memiliki bentuk dan ukuran yang berbeda, kondisi tersebut menyebabkan rantai pasok produk pertanian bersifat probabilistik, dinamis dan rentan terhadap berbagai masalah dan gangguan. Berdasarkan latar belakang diatas, maka kopi membutuhkan manajemenrisiko untuk minimisasi kerugian dan meningkatkan kesempatan, ataupun peluang. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut peneliti melakukan penelitian mengenai risiko dan manajemen risiko usaha KUPS Kopi di LMDH Mandalawangi Kab Garut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah denganmetode survey untukmendapatkan data primer. Sampel penelitian adalah petani Kebun Kopi di LMDH Mandalawangi Gapoktan Sunda Hejo kepada 15 kelompok petani Kopi yang termasuk dalam anggota KPS LMDH Mandalawangi KUPS Kopi. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa jenis risiko yang dihadapi petani kopi adalah risiko kualitas, produksi, harga, pasokan, lingkungan, dan transportasi. Dalam kajian teori menggunakan Strategi Ex�Ante, strategi tersebut dapat dilakukan menggunakan perencanaan yang baik dari kelompok tani, perencanaan pribadi, juga dalam hal pemilihan benih. Adapun Strategi interaktif dapat dilakukan melalui pengaturan jarak tanam, penggunaan pupuk pada tanaman kopi,membasmi organisme pengganggu tanaman, tindakan bila tanaman mati dan mengalami kesulitasn tenaga kerja, serta mengatasi kesulitan biaya. Indonesia is famous for various types of coffee with different tastes, one of which is Arabica coffee. The high production of coffee in West Java has an impact on the competition of businessactors, and they are required to realize that the competition that occurs is competition between supply chain networks. Coffee is included in the category of agricultural products that have perishable properties, besides that the process of planting, growing and being harvested has a high dependence on climate, seasons as well as skills in cultivation, coffee yields are also very varied usually have different shapes and sizes, these conditions This causes the supply chain of agricultural products to be probabilistic, dynamic and vulnerable to various problems and disturbances. Based on the above background, coffee requires risk management to minimize losses and increase opportunities, or opportunities. Based on this background, the researchers conducted research on risk and business risk management of KUPS Kopi at LMDH Mandalawangi, Garut Regency. The research method used is descriptive quantitative method. The data collection method used is the survey method to obtain primary data. The sample of this research is coffee plantation farmers at LMDH Mandalawangi Gapoktan Sunda Hejo to 15 groups of coffee farmers who are members of the LMDH MandalawangiKUPS Kopi KPS. The results showed that the types of risks faced by coffee farmers were quality, production, price, supply, environment, and transportation risks. In a theoretical study using the Ex-Ante Strategy, this strategy can be carried out using good planning from farmer groups, personal planning, also in terms of seed selection. The interactive strategy can be done through setting plant spacing, using fertilizer on coffee plants, eradicating plant-disturbing organisms, taking action when plants die and experiencing labor difficulties, and overcoming cost difficulties.
