Abstract

Demam berdarah dengue merupakan penyakit infeksi oleh virus dengue melalui gigitan vektor DBD yaitu nyamuk genus Aedes. Sekitar 2,5 miliar populasi dunia memiliki risiko terinfeksi dengue Per tahun sekitar 500.000 pasien di dunia memerlukan rawat inap dan mayoritas anak-anak. Parameter laboratorium sebagai indikator menegakan diagnosis DBD adalah trombositopenia dan hemokonsentrasi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan jumlah trombosit dan kadar hematokrit dengan lama rawat inap pasien DBD pada anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling dan uji statistik Chi-Square. Sampel berjumlah 86 pasien DBD pada anak yang menjalani rawat inap di RSUP dr. Sitanala tahun 2019-2021. Terdapat hubungan jumlah trombosit dengan lama rawat inap pasien DBD pada anak, diperoleh nilai p=0,001 dan terdapat hubungan kadar hematokrit dengan lama rawat inap pasien DBD pada anak, didapatkan nilai p=0,029. Terdapat hubungan jumlah trombosit dan kadar hematokrit dengan lama rawat inap pasien DBD pada anak di RSUP dr. Sitanala Tahun 2019-2021./ Dengue hemorrhagic fever is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus through the dengue vector, namely the mosquito of the genus Aedes. 2.5 billion of the world's population has a risk of being infected with dengue. Annually around 500,000 patients in the world require hospitalization and the majority are paediatric. Indicators for diagnosing DHF are thrombocytopenia and hemoconcentration. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between platelet count and hematocrit value with the length of stay of DHF patients in paediatric. This study uses an observational analytic design with a cross sectional approach. Sampling used consecutive sampling technique and Chi-Square statistical test. The sample consisted of 86 DHF patients in paediatric who were hospitalized at dr. Sitanala Hospital in 2019-2021. There was a relationship between the number of platelets with length of stay of DHF patients in paediatric, p value = 0.001 and there was a significant relationship between hematocrit level with length of stay of DHF patients in paediatric, p value = 0.029. There was a relationship between platelet count and hematocrit level with the length of stay of DHF patients in children at dr. Sitanala Hospital in 2019-2021.
