Abstract

Tuberkulosis paru menduduki peringkat kedua sebagai penyebab utama kematian akibat penyakit menular setelah Covid-19. Tuberkulosis ekstra paru didefinisikan sebagai infeksi oleh Mycobacterium tuberculosis yang memengaruhi jaringan dan organ yang berada di luar parenkim paru. Ini terjadi sekitar 25% dari semua kasus tuberkulosis yang terjadi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik pasien TB ekstra paru di RSUD dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid Kota Bekasi Tahun 2019. Rancangan penelitian ini secara deskriptif retrospective content analysis, dengan cara melihat data rekam medik pasien TB ekstra paru di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid Kota Bekasi tahun 2019. 146 sampel digunakan untuk penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan karakteristik pasien TB paling banyak dalam kategori usia 18-40 (59,6%), menurut jenis kelamin adalah perempuan (63,2%), TB ekstra paru paling sering adalah pleura (47,9%), berdasarkan hasil pengobatan TB ekstraparu menunjukkan paling banyak pengobatan putus (47,9%), dan kejadian berdasarkan komorbid paling banyak ditemukan tanpa komorbid (84,9%) Diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan memperhatikan karakteristik lainnya, populasi yang lebih luas dan metode yang lain untuk mengetahui karakteristik pasien TB ekstra paru. Extrapulmonary tuberculosis is defined as an infection by Mycobacterium tuberculosis that affects tissues and organs outside the lung parenchyma. This occurs in about 25% of all cases of tuberculosis that occur. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of extrapulmonary TB patients RSUD dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid Kota Bekasi 2019. The design of this research is descriptive retrospective content analysis, by looking at the medical record data of extrapulmonary TB patients at RSUD dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid Kota Bekasi 2019. 146 samples were used for this study. The results showed that the most common TB patient characteristics were in the age category 18-40 (59.6%), by gender were female (63.2%), the most frequent extrapulmonary TB was pleural (47.9%), based on TB treatment results. Extrapulmonary patients showed the most treatment dropouts (47.9%), and the most comorbid events were found without comorbidities (84.9%) Further research is needed by paying attention to other characteristics, a wider population and other methods to determine the characteristics of TB patients extrapulmonary.
