Abstract

Antibiotik profilaksis adalah antibiotik yang diberikan untuk mencegah kejadian infeksi. Pemberian antibiotik profilaksis penting dilakukan sebelum tindakan pembedahan dengan kategori bedah bersih dan bersih-terkontaminasi, contohnya Sectio Caesarea (SC). Tindakan SC di Indonesia semakin meningkat frekuensinya, bahkan melampaui persentase anjuran WHO. Pemberian antibiotik yang tidak tepat dan tidak rasional dapat menyebabkan mikroba resisten terhadap antibiotik, dan masalah ini sekarang telah menjadi darurat kesehatan global termasuk di Indonesia. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ketepatan penggunaan antibiotik profilaksis pada pasien SC di RSAL Mintohardjo Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian non eksperimental dengan desain deskriptif, retrospektif dengan menggunakan rekam medik. Persentase ketepatan pemberian dan penggunaan antibiotik profilaksis di RSAL Mintohardjo adalah 100% tepat indikasi, dan tidak ada yang tepat jenis obat, tepat dosis, tepat rute, dan tepat waktu berdasarkan panduan antibiotik profilaksis pada pembedahan yang diterbitkan oleh POGI./ Prophylactic antibiotics are antibiotics given to prevent the occurrence of infection. It is important to give prophylactic antibiotics before surgery with clean and clean-contaminated surgery categories, for example Sectio Caesarea (SC). The frequency of SC surgery in Indonesia is increasing, even exceeding the WHO recommendation. Inappropriate and irrational administration of antibiotics can cause microbes to become resistant to antibiotics, which has now become a global health emergency, including in Indonesia. The main purpose of this study was to determine accuracy of prophylactic antibiotics use in SC patients at Mintohardjo Hospital in 2020. This study is a non-experimental type of research with a descriptive, retrospective design using medical records. The percentage of administration and use of prophylactic antibiotics in Mintohardjo Hospital is 100% correct indication, and there is no right type of drug, right dose, right route, and right time based on the guidelines for prophylactic antibiotics in surgery published by POGI.
