Abstract
Sepeda minivelo merupakan salah satu jenis sepeda perkotaan atau city and tracking bicycle yang mulai banyak digunakan di Indonesia. Dalam upaya menjamin keselamatan pengendara sepeda minivelo diperlukan berbagai penelitian pada sepeda dalam hal kekuatan dan ketahanan khususnya pada rangka yang merupakan bagian terpenting sepeda yang menerima beban tarik, geser, tekan, fatigue, dll. Kegagalan fatigue yang merupakan penunjang 90% dari kegagalan pada logam akan dilakukan penelitiannya terhadap konstruksi rangka sepeda minivelo. Analisa fatigue dilakukan dengan menggunakan software SolidWorks dengan simulasi pembebanan menurut ISO 4210-6:2014 yang dibagi menjadi 3 simulasi yaitu: simulasi pembebaban pedal, horizontal, dan vertical. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa simulasi pembebanan pedal merupakan penyumbang kerusakan tercepat dengan hasil simulasi statis besarnya tegangan VonMises Stress 133 MPa, dan safety factor 3,46. Fatigue life rangka sepeda minivelo adalah sebesar 126.150 cycle pada pembebanan pedal dengan jumlah siklus minimal yang ditetapkan adalah 100.000 cycle. Umur pakai rangka sepeda jika digunakan aktivitas harian adalah sekitar 11,52 tahun. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian menunjukan rangka sepeda minivelo aman untuk digunakan./ Minivelo bicycle is one type of city and tracking bicycle that is starting to be widely used in Indonesia. To ensure the safety of minivelo cyclists, various studies are needed on bicycles in terms of strength and durability, especially on the frame which is the most important part of a bicycle that receives tensile, shear, compressive, fatigue, etc. loads. Fatigue failure which is the supporter of 90% of failures in metal will be researched on the minivelo bicycle frame construction. Fatigue analysis is carried out using SolidWorks software with loading simulations according to ISO 4210-6:2014 which is divided into 3 simulations, namely: pedal loading simulation, horizontal, and vertical. The results showed that the simulation of pedal loading was the fastest contributor to damage with static simulation results of the magnitude of the VonMises Stress being 133 MPa and a safety factor of 3.46. The fatigue life of the minivelo bicycle frame is 126,150 cycles on pedal loading with the specified minimum number of cycles being 100,000 cycles. Lifespan of the bicycle frame when used for daily activities is around 11.52 years. The conclusion of the research shows that the minivelo bicycle frame is safe to use
