Abstract

Stevens Johnson Syndrome Disease ( SSJ ) including emergency diseases are fatal skin on skin and mucous membranes in the eyes orifice . Stevens Johnson Syndrome symptoms constitutional symptoms usually consist of fever , malaise and pain in the head , throat and mouth . Erythematous skin symptoms such as papel or bullae . Symptoms stricken region muco cutan nose mouth eyes genitalia and anus . Causes of Stevens Johnson Syndrome is a drug allergy , infection , malignancy , and idiopathic . Allergy medication is a major cause SSJ ( 50 % ) . Drugs that have a high risk of lead SSJ is allopurinol , sulfametoksasol , sulfadiazine , sulfapyridin , sulfadoxine , sulfasalazine , phenobarbital , carbamazepine , lamotrigine , phenytoin , fenibultazon , nevirapine , NSAIDs oxicam Although rare , some small SSJ reportedly caused by a viral infection ( HSV , HIV , EBV , coxackie , hepatitis , mumps , variola ) , bacterial infections ( streptococcal alpha , diphtheria , brucellosis , mycobacteria , typhoid ) , protozoal infections ( trikomonisasis , malaria ) , fungal infections ( coccidioidomikosis , dermatophytosis , histoplasmosis ) , and this is almost a variety of types of carcinoma and lymphoma . SSJ complications arising primarily from broncho pneumonia in severe cases can arise arthragia myalgia convulsions coma even fatal septicemia . Eye abnormalities may include blindness as sequelae . Laboratory tests showed leukocytosis ( 12000-30000 per cubic mm ) with a predominance of PMN (polymorphonuclear cells) Treatment of SSJ is a corticosteroid , an antibiotic that does not cause allergies , fluid therapy / blood , and supportive therapy . Prognosis good with the use of corticoid .
