Abstract

Social and environmental responsibility is a company's responsibility that should be calculated as accounted for as corporate expenditure in which the implementation is carried out by taking due care and due diligence into consideration, which if it is not performed properly shall be penalized in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Business activities performed by major corporations nowadays have become a powerful force that has to be followed by social and environmental responsibility which benefits the public. To provide legal searity in performing those social responsibilities, it requires legal grounds that can give a sense of fairness to all stakeholders therefore giving the greatest benefit to public welfare
