Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali fenomena tentang pariwisata halal yang diimplementasikan dari kebijakan New Southbound Policy Taiwan. Isu yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini dikaji dengan menggunakan pendekatan Diplomasi Publik oleh S.L. Roy, serta dikuatkan dengan konsep Pariwisata Halal milik Moh Battour & Moh Nazari Ismail. Kedua pendekatan tersebut dipakai untuk memahami dan menganalisis ketentuan bahan-bahan penerapan yang disebutkan oleh kebijakan New Southbound Policy terhadap pariwisata halal di Taiwan dalam menilik wisatawan muslim asal Indonesia. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data dokumentasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Taiwan telah melakukan pendekatan diplomasi publik bagi wisatawan muslim Indonesia guna merevitalisasi pariwisata halalnya untuk membentuk industri halal dan negeri ramah muslim melalui promosi, sosialisasi, pameran, hingga penerbitan TETO di Indonesia. Kata kunci : Pariwisata Halal, Diplomasi Publik, Taiwan, New Southbound Policy, Muslim/ This research aims to explain the phenomenon about the halal tourism of implemented from Taiwan’s New Southbound Policy. The issues that raised in this research is examined by S.L. Roy’s Public Diplomacy, and will be strengthened by Moh Battour & Moh Nazari Ismail’re Halal Tourism concept. Those two approaches are used to understand and analyze the material forming implementation of Taiwan's New Southbound Policy for their halal tourism to observe Indonesian Muslim tourism. This research also uses qualitative methods with documentation data collection technique and interview. This research showed that Taiwan has been approached research public diplomacy to Indonesian muslim tourism, for their halal tourism revitalized. The last section through various promotion, socialization, exhibition and the establishment of TETO in Indonesia's are values formed halal industry and muslim country house.
