Abstract

Latar belakang masalah adalah karena lemah nya iman remaja Kristen di jaman sekarang, maka perlu dikaji secara mendalam, termasuk mengetahui faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi, salah satu yang utama adalah faktor peran orang tua dalam keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini yang pertama, Untuk mengetahui gambaran peran orang tua dalam keluarga Kristen di wilayah Jabodetabek, Untuk mengetahui gambaran pertumbuhan iman remaja Kristen di wilayah Jabodetabek, Untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh peran orang tua dalam keluarga terhadap pertumbuhan iman remaja Kristen di wilayah Jabodetabek. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode ex-post facto. Penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Sampel diambil dengan cara menyebar angket (dalam bentuk google form beserta link-nya) melalui WhatsApp grup-grup yang ada. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sesuai dengan dugaan awal (hipotesis penelitian), dimana terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan antara peran orang tua terhadap pertumbuhan iman remaja Kristen/The background of the problem is because of the weak faith of Christian youth today, it needs to be studied in depth, including knowing the factors that can influence it, one of the main factors is the role of parents in the family. The purpose of this study is first, to describe the role of parents in Christian families in the Greater Jakarta area, To find out the description of the faith growth of Christian adolescents in the Greater Jakarta area, To determine whether there is an influence of the role of parents in the family on the growth of Christian youth faith in the Greater Jakarta area. This research method uses a quantitative approach, with the ex-post facto method. This research uses purposive sampling. The sample was taken by distributing a questionnaire (in the form of a google form along with the link) via WhatsApp groups. The results of this study are in accordance with the initial assumption (the research hypothesis), where there is a significant positive influence between the role of parents on the growth of Christian youth's faith.
