Abstract

Kerusakan lingkungan telah menjadi permasalahan dunia, tidak terkecuali di Indonesia. Kota Bogor sebagai salah satu kota besar di Indonesia tak luput dari permasalahan tersebut. Ditambah adanya pandemi Covid-19 yang menjadikan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) sebagai hal yang penting. Adapun permasalahan lingkungan dan PHBS sendiri saling berhubungan satu sama lain. Sikap peduli lingkungan dipengaruhi oleh pendidikan karakter, sekolah Katolik mengacu pada pendidikan karakter, oleh sebab itu penelitian dilakukan di SMA Budi Mulia Bogor sebagai salah satu SMA Katolik terbaik di Kota Bogor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran tingkat peduli lingkungan dan PHBS di civitas SMA Budi Mulia Kota Bogor di masa pandemi Covid-19 dan pengaruh perilaku tersebut terhadap lingkungan sekolah di masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah obervasi, kuesioner dan wawancara. Populasi penelitian ini adalah SMA Budi Mulia Bogor dengan jumlah sampel responden sebanyak 255 orang, dari kepala sekolah, guru, karyawan dan siswa. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan sikap peduli lingkungan dan PHBS di civitas akademika SMA Budi Mulia Bogor berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan perolehan skor rata-rata 173,7. Skor rata-rata sikap peduli lingkungan dan PHBS secara berturut-tuut dari kepala sekolah, guru, karyawan, dan siswa adalah 178,0, 172,9, 177,5, dan 166,5 yang masing-masing berada pada kategori sangat baik. Sikap peduli lingkungan dan PHBS civitas akademika SMA Budi Mulia Bogor semasa pandemi Covid-19 yang berada dalam kategori sangat baik menjadikan lingkungan sekolah menjadi lebih biak, seperti penambahan wastafel, pengurangan sampah plastik, meminimalisir penularan Covid-19 dan juga pengadaan penghijauan di lingkungan sekolah. / Environmental damage has been a big issues at the world, also in Indonesia. Bogor is one of Indonesia’s big cities that also has the environmental issues. And also there’s Covid-19 pandemic which makes clean and healthy lifestyle behavior (perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS)) more important. Environmental issues and PHBS are interconnected each other. The environmental care behavior influenced by character education, and Catholic schools has a system that refer to character education, therefore the research was conducted at SMA Budi Mulia Bogor, which is one of the best Catholic High School in Bogor. This research aim to describe the level of environmental care behavior and PHBS in civitas academic of SMA Budi Mulia Bogor during the Covid-19 pandemic, and also the impact of those behaviors to the surrounding environment. The methods that used to obtain the data are observation, questionnaires and interviews. The population of this research is SMA Budi Mulia Bogor with 255 people as the sample, from the school principals, teachers, employees and students. The results of the study showed that the environmental care behavior and PHBS in civitas academic of SMA Budi Mulia Bogor during pandemic Covid-19 is in the very good category which have an average score 173,7. The average scores in succession for principal, teachers, employees, and students are 178,0, 172,9, 177,5, and 166,5, all of that are in the very good category. The environmental care behavior and PHBS in civitas academic of SMA Budi Mulia Bogor during pandemic Covid-19 makes the environment much better, such as adding more sinks at the school corridors, reducing plastic waste, minimizing Covid-19 transmission and also some greening in the school environment.
