Abstract

Diabetes melitus tipe 2 merupakan salah satu jenis dari penyakit diabetes melitus, dengan karakteristik hiperglikemia (glukosa darah puasa ≥ 126 mg/dL atau glukosa darah postprandial ≥ 200 mg/dL atau glukosa darah sewaktu ≥ 200 mg/dL) yang disebabkan oleh resistensi insulin (penurunan sensitivitas insulin/penurunan kemampuan sel-sel tubuh untuk merespon insulin) dan gangguan sekresi insulin. Kepatuhan minum obat pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe-2 perlu diperhatikan agar terhindar dari berbagai komplikasi yang dapat terjadi. Kepatuhan minum obat dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti dukungan keluarga, pengetahuan dan pemahaman penderita mengenai penyakitnya, serta masih banyak lagi faktor lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dan pengetahuan terhadap kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe-2 di Puskesmas Pasir Gunung Selatan, Depok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan metode pendekatan cross-sectional, dengan jumlah sampel yang diambil sebesar 142 responden yang diambil menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 98 responden (69,01%) mendapat dukungan keluarga yang cukup baik, pengetahuan baik sebanyak 92 responden (64,79%), dan kepatuhan minum obat rendah sebanyak 90 responden (63,38%). Hasil uji statistik korelasi pada penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif antara dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan minum obat (Sig 0,002) serta pengetahuan dengan kepatuhan minum obat (Sig 0,001). Kata Kunci : Diabetes Melitus Tipe-2, Dukungan Keluarga, Pengetahuan, Kepatuhan Minum Obat / Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a type of diabetes mellitus disease, with characteristic hyperglycemia (fasting blood glucose ≥ 126 mg/dL or postprandial blood glucose ≥ 200 mg/dL or random blood glucose ≥ 200 mg/dL) caused by insulin resistance (decreased insulin sensitivity/decreased ability of body cells to respond to insulin) and impaired insulin secretion. Compliance with medications in individuals with type-2 diabetes mellitus ought to be considered to keep away various complications that can occur. Adherence to taking medicine can be affected by a few components such as family support, knowledge and understanding of sufferers about their disease, and many other factors. This study means to discover the relationship of family backing and information on drug-taking consistence in patients with type-2 diabetes mellitus at Pasir Gunung Selatan Health Center, Depok.. This type of research is observational analytics with a cross-sectional approach method, with the number of samples taken by 142 respondents taken using the accidental sampling technique. The results showed that there were 98 respondents (69.01%) received good family support, a good knowledge as many as 92 respondents (64.79%), and low drug compliance as many as 90 respondents (63.38%). The results of the correlation statistical test in this study showed a positive relationship between's family backing and medication adherence (Sig 0,002) as well as knowledge with drug-taking compliance (Sig 0,001).
