Abstract
Yulia Megawati. Manajemen Kesiswaan dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Prestasi Peserta Didik, Studi Kasus di SD Santa Maria Fatima. Tesis. Manajemen Pendidikan, Program Pascasarjana, Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Jakarta, 2018. Tujuan yang yang diharapkan adalah untuk mengetahui mengenai penerapan manajemen kesiswaan, untuk mengetahui prestasi yang sudah diraih dan yang diharapkan serta mengetahui implikasi manajemen kesiswaan terhadap prestasi akademik dan prestasi non akademik peserta didik. Fokus Penelitian ini adalah penerapan manajemen kesiswaan di SD Santa Maria Fatima, prestasi peserta didik yang telah diraih dan yang diharapkan di SD Santa Maria Fatima, implikasi manajemen kesiswaan terhadap prestasi peserta didik di SD Santa Maria Fatima. Subfokus penelitian ini adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi terhadap manajemen kesiswaan di SD Santa Maria Fatima. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan berbagai narasumber (Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, Guru, dan orangtua peserta didik) serta dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data yang sudah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka diperoleh bahwa perencanaan hanya dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dan para guru saat kegiatan Rapat Kerja. Perencanaan ini dibuat dalam bentuk perangkat manajemen kesiswaan. Prestasi yang diraih dan yang diharapkan oleh SD Santa Maria Fatima dilihat dari perencanaan bagi siswa yang akan mengikuti kompetisi belum dilakukan secara optimal oleh pihak sekolah dan dari pihak orangtua belum dilibatkan secara menyeluruh. Fokus selanjutnya adalah implikasi manajemen kesiswaan terhadap prestasi maka diperoleh bahwa manajemen kesiswaan harus dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi secara rutin, namun pada pelaksanaannya belum dilakukan secara rutin serta evaluasi yang dilakukan belum memiliki dampak secara berkelanjutan. The purpose of the study is to understand about implementation of student management, to understand about achieve the expected curriculum goals, and to know implication of student management necessity to achieve academic and non-academic achievement. This research focuses on applying student management at SD Santa Maria Fatima, acquired and expected achievement of SD Santa Maria Fatima, and the outcome from the implementation of student management in SD Santa Maria Fatima. The sub-focus of this research is the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of student management at SD Santa Maria Fatima.Data collection techniques used participatory observation, in-depth interviews with various speakers (Principal, Vice Principal, teachers, and parents of learners/students) and documentation. Data is then being analyzed in qualitative description. The qualitative reasearch method with descriptive approach. The research gives several results as follows. The application of student management planning, is only done by is only done by principals, vice principals and teachers during the annual Working Meeting. This planning is made in the form of student management tools. The acquired and expected achievements of SD Santa Maria Fatima with planning of guidance for students who will be sent to competitions has not been optimally done by the school, and parents have not been involved thoroughly. Next focus is the implementation of student management with the sub-focus of monitoring and evaluation, found out that student management should be monitored and evaluated regularly. Nevertheless, the implementation has not been done regularly and the evaluation has not had a continuous impact. Keywords: Student Management, Academic Achievement, and Non Academic.
