Abstract

The results is , the group Patients with age categories 25-44 years have the highest prevalence with 453 patients. Based on sex, it was found that male patients had the highest total incidence with 1052 patients. Based on the type of plasmodium obtained, Plasmodium falciparum has the highest incidence rate which is 1470 patients. Based on the season, the highest prevalence of malaria occurred at the end of the rainy season, which was 222 cases of malaria. It is also found that the highest prevalence of mixed malaria infection occurred in 2017 with 61 cases. The profile of cerebral malaria patients in Abepura Regional Hospital was found to be increasing every year. In 2016 the number of cerebral malaria cases amounted to 9 cases then increased in 2017 with 21 cases and continues to increase in 2018 with 26 cases. Keywords: Malaria, Plasmodium, Papua
