Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui tingkat perkembangan moral siswa Kristen di SMPN 29 dan SMPN 9, mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran PAK dan Budi Pekerti di kedua sekolah tersebut, dan mengetahui implikasinya dalam pembelajaran PAK dan Budi Pekerti di sekolah. Metode penelitian adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data adalah informan dan dokumen penunjang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan penelurusan dokumen. Observasi dilakukan terhadap guru PAK SMPN 9. Wawancara mendalam dilakukan terhadap siswa informan, guru BK, guru PAK, dan Kepala/ Wakil Kepala Sekolah. Sebagian besar instrumen penelitian disusun oleh peneliti, kecuali pedoman wawancara “Dilema Moral” (Kohlberg). Instrumen lain adalah pedoman wawancara untuk menganalisis karakter ke dalam tiga komponen moral (teori Lickona). Validitas data dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi. Analisis data menggunakan Model Analisis Interaktif. Temuan penelitian ialah perkembangan moral siswa Kristen berfungsi pada tingkat konvensional, dengan skor lebih tinggi berada pada siswa SMPN 9. Tingkat perkembangan moral pascakonvensional (tertinggi), juga lebih banyak muncul pada siswa SMPN 9. Secara umum, karakter dan perilaku moral siswa Kristen di kedua SMPN tergolong baik dengan pengetahuan moral baik, sikap moral dalam proses berkembang, dan perilaku moral positif dan adaptif berdasarkan Alkitab. Perkembangan moral siswa dipengaruhi salah satunya oleh kehadiran mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen dan Budi Pekerti di sekolah. Iklim sekolah yang kondusif menjadi syarat mutlak untuk mencapai perkembangan moral yang optimal. Metode pengajaran nilai-nilai moral dan karakter di kelas perlu dioptimalkan dengan melaksanakan setiap tahapan dari pendekatan saintifik dalam Kurikulum 2013./The study aims to determine the level of moral development of Christian students in SMPN 29 and SMPN 9, find out the implementation of PAK and Budi Pekerti learning in both schools, and the implications in PAK and Budi Pekerti learning in schools. The research method is qualitative descriptive. Data sources are informants and supporting documents. Data collection is done by observation, in-depth interviews, and document search. Observations were made towards SMPN 9 PAK teacher. In-depth interviews were conducted with informant students, BK teachers, PAK teacher, and the Principal/ Deputy Principal. Most research instruments are prepared by the researcher, except the "Moral Dilemma" interview guidelines (Kohlberg). Another instrument is the interview guide for analyzing characters into three moral components (Lickona's theory). Data validity is done by triangulation techniques. Data analysis uses an Interactive Analysis Model. The findings of the study are that the moral development of Christian students functions at a conventional level, with a higher score being in SMP 9 students. The level of highest moral development (postconventional), also appears more in SMP 9 students. In general, the character and moral behavior of Christian students in both SMPN is classified as good with good moral knowledge, moral feeling (attitude) in the process of developing, and positive and adaptive moral behavior based on the Bible. Students’ moral development is influenced by one of the which is the presence of Christian Religious Education and Character subject at school. A conducive school climate is an absolute prerequisite for achieving optimal moral development. The method of teaching moral values and character in the classroom needs to be optimized by carrying out each single stage of the scientific approach in the 2013 Curriculum.
