Abstract

One important aspect that is closely related to students’ interests is students’ learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze students' interest in chemistry through multimedia-based learning. The sample of the research is class X students of SMA 1 Cawang Baru, Jakarta, as many as 34 students was selected by purposive sampling technique on atomic structure material. The analysis and interpretation of the data show that 80% of students are interested in chemistry, 13.33% are very interested, and 6.67% are quite interested. The one sample t-test analysis tcount (1.964) > ttable (1.687), indicating that there was a significant influence of the use of multimedia on students' interest in chemistry. Based on the analysis and interpretation of the data, it was concluded that the use of multimedia significantly influenced students' interest in chemistry in the interest category by 80%, very interested in 13.33%, and quite interested in 6.67%.ia siswa pada kategori berminat sebesar 80%, sangat berminat 13,33%, dan cukup berminat 6,67%./
