Abstract

Perilaku atau tindakan yang dilakukan guru di sekolah dapat dijadikan sebagai strategi untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru sekolah dasar se-Kecamatan Pantai Cermin.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi kerja dan supervisi akademik terhadap kinerja mengajar guru sekolah dasar se- Kecamatan Pantai Cermin. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat analisis regresi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 35 orang guru dari 100 guru dengan menggunakanteknik simpel random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi kerja dan supervisi akademik memengaruhi kinerja guru yang dapat digambarkan dengan persamaan y = 0,42 + 0,44x1 + 0,43x2. Motivasi kerja dan supervisi akademik secara bersama-sama bisa menjelaskan kinerja guru sebesar 51%. Upaya untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru yaitu memberikan kesempatan yang merata bagi guru untuk mengikuti pelatihan, memperbaiki sistem pengajian dan menaikan gaji guru sesuai UMR, membangun hubungan yang akrab antar sesama guru dan kepala sekolah serta membudayakan musyawarah di lingkungan sekolah dan melakukan bimbingan secara kontinu. Kata kunci: Kinerja Guru, Motivasi Kerja dan Supervisi Akademik./Behavior or action by teachers in primary schools can be used as a strategy to improve the performance of elementary school teachers in Pantai Cermin subdistrict. This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and academic supervision on teaching performance of elementary school teachers in Pantai Cermin sub-district. This study uses regression analysis tool. The sample in this study were 35 teachers from 100 teachers using simple random sampling technique. The results showed that work motivation and academic supervision affect teacher performance can be described with the equation y = 0.42 + 0.44X1 + 0.43X2. Work motivation and academic supervision together can explain teacher performance by 51%. Efforts to improve teachers‟ performance include providing equal opportunities for teachers to attend training, improving payroll systems and increasing teachers' salaries according to regional minimum wages, building close relationships among teachers and principals and cultivating deliberations in the school environment and continuous guidance.
