Abstract

Changes in all aspects of human life have occurred as a result of the emergence of the COVID-19 Pandemic. All matters of the educational environment including the Campus like the Indonesian Christian University (UKI) Jakarta are faced with a turbulent situation with the characteristics of "VUCA", Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity. The campus environment requires a strategy to adapt and improve learning abilities in order to survive. This study aims to explore the concepts of VUCA leadership (Vision, Understanding, Courage,, and Adaptibility) as an alternative strategy to survive and be empowered, competitiveness, particularly UKI Jakarta. This study refers to several articles on organization and leadership. The role of a leader who is responsive and skilled in anticipating and responding to changes that occur rapidly is needed nowadays. In addition, organizational flexibility and innovative strategies of leaders are needed so that the UKI is still able to survive and be competitive. In a pandemic situation that demands changes in various aspects, the leaders are taking steps precisely characterized by VUCA. Keywords: organization, leadership, flexibility, VUCA
