Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini terkait kreativitas dan hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta. Peneliti menemukan respon siswa yang pasif dan cenderung belum mampu mencetuskan banyak gagasan, jawaban, penyelesaian masalah atau pertanyaan denggan lancar. Peserta didik juga masih kurang dalam mencari berbagai alternatif atau arah yang berbeda-beda dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang diberikan oleh guru. Selain itu, peneliti juga menemukan fakta bahwa hasil belajar kimia siswa hanya 68% siswa yang mampu mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan oleh sekolah yaitu 78. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Meningkatkan kreativitas belajar siswa melalui metode pembelajaran market place activity (MPA). (2) Meningkatkan hasil belajar kimia siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran market place activity (MPA). (3) Mengetahui apakah terdapat peningkatan kreativitas siswa melalui penggunaan metode pembelajaran Market Place Activity (MPA) di SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta. (4) Mengetahui apakah terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa melalui penggunaan Metode pembelajaran Market Place Activity (MPA) di SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta?. (5) Mengetahui berapa besar peningkatan kreativitas dan hasil belajar kimia siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran Market Place Activity (MPA) di SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2x2. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA Semester I SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta T.P 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 144 siswa. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas dengan jumlah 72 orang ditentukan dengan purposive sampling yaitu kelas XI-MIPA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan metode pembelejaran market place activity (MPA) sebanyak 36 siswa dan XIMIPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 36 siswa. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket kreativitas dan tes hasil belajar pilihan. Uji persyaratan analisis menggunakan statistik parametrik dikarenakan data yang diperoleh normal dan bersifat homogeny. Hipotesis dianalisis menggunakan uji t-test dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 dengan bantuan SPSS 16.0 for windows. Berdasarkan analisis data dan uji hipotesis yang dilakukan diperoleh bahwa : (1) penggunaan Metode Pembelajaran Market Place Activity (MPA) tidak dapat meningkatan kreativitas belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta. (2) Penggunaan Metode Pembelajaran Market Place Activity (MPA) dapat meningkatan hasil belajar kimia siswa melalui di SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Kreativitas, Metode Pembelajaran, Market Place Activity The background of this research is related to creativity and student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta. Researchers find passive student responses and tend not to be able to spark lots of ideas, answers, problem solving or questions smoothly. Students are also still lacking in finding various alternatives or different directions in solving problems given by the teacher. In addition, researchers also found the fact that only 68% of students' learning outcomes in chemistry were able to achieve the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) set by the school which was 78. This study aimed to: (1) Increase student learning creativity through market place activity learning methods (MPA). (2) Improving student chemistry learning outcomes by using market place activity (MPA) learning methods. (3) Determine whether there is an increase in student creativity through the use of Market Place Activity (MPA) learning methods at SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta. (4) Know whether there is an increase in student learning outcomes through the use of Market Place Activity (MPA) learning methods at SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta ?. (5) Knowing how much the increase in creativity and learning outcomes in student chemistry by using the Market Place Activity (MPA) learning method at SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta. This research is a quasi-experimental research with 2x2 factorial design. The population in this study were students of class XI MIPA Semester I of SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta T.P 2019/2020, totaling 144 students. The research sample consisted of two classes with a total of 72 people determined by purposive sampling, namely class XI-MIPA 4 as an experimental class using 36 place market activity activity (MPA) learning methods and XI-MIPA 3 as a control class of 36 students. The research instrument used a questionnaire of creativity and choice of learning outcomes tests. Test requirements analysis uses parametric statistics because the data obtained are normal and homogeneous. The hypothesis was analyzed using a t-test with a significance level of 0.05 with the help of SPSS 16.0 for windows. Based on data analysis and hypothesis testing, it was found that: (1) the use of the Market Place Activity Learning Method (MPA) could not increase student learning creativity at SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta. (2) The use of Market Place Activity Learning Method (MPA) can improve student chemistry learning outcomes through at SMA Negeri 71 Jakarta.
