Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini antara lain untuk mengetahui kalimat literal dalam subtitle film “Captain Fantastic “ dan memperbaiki kalimat literal. Penelitian ini ditemukan data terjemahan literal, menterjemahkan sebuah kata atau ungkapan kata perkata. Penelitian ini menghasilkan data dengan hasil 32 data terjemahan literal yang terdapat pada subtitle film. Maka, dilakukan analisis yang mengkategorisasi kata benda yang tepat dan ditemukan didalam teks. Teknik ini diterapkan oleh penerjemah dalam menerjemahkan kata benda yang tepat yang ada dalam teks, dan ideologi yang dipilih untuk ditelusuri dari teknik utama yang diterapkan oleh penerjemah dalam menerjemahkan kata benda yang tepat di setiap kategori kata benda yang tepat juga seperti dalam keseluruhan teks. Kata kunci: Terjemahan, Penerjemahan literal. The purpose of this study is to find out the literal sentences in the subtitles in the film "Captain Fantastic" and improve the literal sentences. This research found literal translation data, translating a word or word expression. This study produces data with 32 literal translation data contained in the film subtitles. So, an analysis is made that categorizes the proper nouns and is found in the text. This technique is applied by the translator in translating the exact nouns that are in the text, and the ideology chosen to be traced from the main techniques applied by the translator in translating the right nouns in each proper noun category as well as in the whole text.
