Abstract
Objective: This study aims to observe the process of physiotherapist in a private hospital. Method: This research is descriptive qualitative. This research model approach also refers to a case study because it only observes one physiotherapy unit in one private hospital. The study population was physiotherapists and patient medical record data in 2017 with a span of 3 months from April to June 2017. Sampling techniques were all physiotherapists (4 people) and medical record sampling data. Result: The physiotherapist has carried out the management process correctly in accordance with regulations in the SOAP format. The average time spent physiotherapist in handling patients is 102 minutes for musculoskeletal cases, 143 minutes for neuromuscular cases, and 62 minutes for cardio respiration cases with an average total of 102.3 minutes for one patient. Conclusion: Physiotherapists at Hospital X need to complete the SOAP format in the documentation as well as increase working hours in order to provide optimal service to patients.
