Abstract

Dalam pelaksanaan proyek konstruksi, keterlambatan sering terjadi akibat berbagai faktor, seperti keterbatasan tenaga kerja, kompleksitas proyek, dan penjadwalan yang kurang efektif. Salah satu metode yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengatasi keterlambatan tersebut adalah metode skip-floor, yaitu metode yang memungkinkan pekerjaan konstruksi pada lantai atas tetap dapat dilanjutkan meskipun lantai di bawahnya belum selesai. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis efektivitas metode skip-floor dalam mempercepat proses konstruksi pada proyek pembangunan rumah sakit di Juanda. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui beberapa teknik pengumpulan data, termasuk wawancara, observasi langsung, studi literatur, dan pemodelan struktur menggunakan perangkat lunak Tekla Structures. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode skip-floor secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi proyek dengan mengurangi waktu menganggur antar lantai dan memungkinkan pekerjaan dilakukan secara bersamaan pada lantai-lantai yang tidak berurutan. Selain itu, metode ini mendukung penyelesaian proyek tepat waktu serta meminimalkan potensi kerugian operasional bagi pihak pemilik proyek. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi proyek konstruksi lainnya yang menghadapi tantangan keterlambatan serupa. One method that can be applied to address these delays is the skip-floor method, which allows construction on upper floors to continue even if the lower floors have not yet been completed. This research focuses on analyzing the effectiveness of the skip-floor method in accelerating the construction process of the Hospital in Juanda project. The study was conducted using several data collection techniques, including interviews, direct observations, literature studies, and structural modeling with Tekla Structures software. The results show that applying the skip-floor method significantly improves project efficiency by reducing idle time between floors and enabling simultaneous work on non-consecutive floors. Additionally, this method helps ensure timely project completion, minimizing potential operational losses for the project owner. This research is expected to serve as a reference for future construction projects facing similar delay challenges.
