Abstract

Sistem palang pintu konvensional maupun yang menggunakan kartu akses masih memiliki keterbatasan, seperti risiko kehilangan kartu, antrean kendaraan, dan potensi pencurian. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang purwarupa sistem palang pintu otomatis berbasis Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) dengan konsep Internet of Things (IoT) serta fitur One Time Password (OTP) sebagai autentikasi tambahan kendaraan keluar. Sistem menggunakan kamera, OpenCV, EasyOCR, ESP32, database MySQL, Telegram Bot, dan website monitoring untuk mengidentifikasi plat nomor serta mengontrol akses kendaraan secara real-time. Pengujian dilakukan pada sensor ultrasonik, sistem ANPR, komunikasi ESP32 dengan Python, validasi database, sistem OTP, dan servo motor. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sensor ultrasonik memiliki nilai koefisien korelasi (r) dan koefisien determinasi (R²) mendekati 1. Sistem ANPR berhasil mengenali plat nomor dengan tingkat keberhasilan 100%, sedangkan sistem OTP mencapai keberhasilan pengiriman dan verifikasi 100% dengan rata-rata waktu 1,15 detik dan 3,01 detik. Mekanisme palang memiliki rata-rata waktu buka 1,31 detik dan waktu tutup 1,29 detik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem layak diterapkan sebagai sistem keamanan perumahan berbasis IoT./Conventional gate systems, including those using access cards, still have several limitations, such as the risk of card loss, vehicle queues, and potential vehicle theft. This study aims to design and develop an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR)-based automatic gate prototype by implementing the Internet of Things (IoT) concept and integrating a One Time Password (OTP) feature as an additional authentication method for exiting vehicles. The system utilizes a camera, OpenCV, EasyOCR, ESP32, MySQL database, Telegram Bot, and a web-based monitoring platform to recognize vehicle license plates and control vehicle access in real time. Experimental results show that the ultrasonic sensor achieved correlation coefficient (r) and coefficient of determination (R²) values close to 1. The ANPR system obtained a 100% license plate recognition success rate, while the Telegram-based OTP system achieved a 100% success rate for both delivery and verification, with an average delivery time of 1.15 seconds and an average verification time of 3.01 seconds. The gate mechanism recorded an average opening time of 1.31 seconds and a closing time of 1.29 seconds. The results indicate that the proposed system reliably as an IoT-based residential security system.
