Abstract
Penyusunan tesis ini sebagai cerminan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana peran gereja, keluarga, dan sekolah dalam mengatasi problematika remaja putus sekolah di desa Makkaliki. Mengingat tingginya angka remaja putus sekolah dengan segala problematika penyebabnya, maka penelitian ini berkontribusi untuk memberikan dorongan kepada pihak-pihak pelaksana Pendidikan Agama Kristen untuk mengembangkan materi ajar dan pembimbingan kepada remaja secara khusus mengenai pentingnya pendidikan.kemudian dalam penelitian ini juga memberikan gambaran kepada pemerintah desa makkaliki mengenai pentingnya pendidikan bagi remaja. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode triangulasi yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan data yang bersifat alamiah. Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 26 orang, antara lain: 5 remaja yang mengalami masalah putus sekolah, 5 orang tua yang anaknya putus sekolah (usia remaja), 4 tokoh agama dan adat, 1 Kepala Sekolah dan 1 orang guru mata pelajaran PAK. Dari hasil penelitian ini, peneliti mengemukakan bahwa peran gereja dan sekolah belum dijalankan dalam mengatasi persoalan remaja putus sekolah sedangkan peran keluarga tidak maksimal. Karena itu dibutuhkan integrasi program dan kerja sama ketiga pihak dalam mengatasi persoalan remaja putus sekolah di desa Makkaliki. Kata Kunci: gereja, keluarga, problematika remaja putus sekolah, remaja, sekolah. / The preparation of this thesis is a reflection to find out the extent of the role of the church, family and school in overcoming the problem of teenagers dropping out of school in Makkaliki village. Considering the high number of teenagers dropping out of school with all the problematic causes, this research contributes to providing encouragement to parties implementing Christian Religious Education to develop teaching and guidance materials for teenagers specifically regarding the importance of education. In this research, researchers used qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. The data collection technique used is the triangulation method, namely interviews, observation and documentation with natural data. The informants in this study consisted of 26 people, including: 5 teenagers who had problems dropping out of school, 5 parents whose children had dropped out of school (adolescents), 4 religious and traditional leaders, 1 school principal and 1 teacher of PAK subjects. From the results of this research, the researcher stated that the role of the church and school has not been played in overcoming the problem of teenagers dropping out of school while the role of the family is not optimal. Therefore, program integration and cooperation between the three parties is needed to overcome the problem of teenagers dropping out of school in Makkaliki village.
