Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan aplikasi Hanping Chinese Dictionary dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Hanzi siswa kelas XI TKJ di SMK Mahadhika 4. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen berupa one-group pre-test-post-test design, yang melibatkan satu kelompok eksperimen tanpa kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes (pre-test dan post-test) serta kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis persentase untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar dan efektivitas media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata sebesar 30,50% setelah penggunaan aplikasi, yang menandakan perkembangan signifikan dalam kemampuan membaca Hanzi siswa. Selain itu, tanggapan peserta didik terhadap aplikasi ini sangat positif dengan nilai kuesioner sebesar 82,6%, yang termasuk kategori “sangat efektif”. Aplikasi Hanping Chinese Dictionary terbukti membantu peserta didik dalam mengenali karakter Hanzi, memahami Pīnyīn, serta memperkaya kosakata melalui fitur-fitur digital seperti urutan goresan, audio pelafalan, dan contoh kalimat. Temuan ini sejalan dengan berbagai teori efektivitas dan pembelajaran membaca yang dikaji dalam kajian pustaka, serta menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran berbasis digital dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa asing, khususnya dalam membaca Hanzi./This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the Hanping Chinese Dictionary application in improving the ability to read Hanzi among 11th-grade TKJ students at SMK Mahadhika 4. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a one-group pre-test-post-test model, involving a single experimental group without a control group. Data were collected through tests (pre-test and post-test) and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used was percentage analysis to measure learning improvement and the effectiveness of the learning media. The results showed an average score increase of 30.50% after using the application, indicating a significant improvement in students’ anzi reading skills. In addition, student responses to the application were very positive, with a questionnaire score of 82.6%, categorized as "very effective." The Hanping Chinese Dictionary application effectively assisted students in recognizing Hanzi, characters, understanding Pīnyīn, and enriching vocabulary through digital features such as stroke order, pronunciation audio, and example sentences. These findings align with various theories on learning effectiveness and reading skills, demonstrating that the integration of digital learning technology can enhance foreign language education, particularly in reading Mandarin Hanzi./这项研究旨在确定使用Hanping中文词典应用程序在提高SMK Mahadhika 4学校11年级TKJ学生阅读汉字能力方面的有效性。研究采用定量方法,使用准实验设计中的单组前测-后测模型,涉及一个实验组而没有对照组。数据通过测试(前测和后测)和问卷收集。数据分析技术采用百分比分析来衡量学习进步和学习媒体的有效性。 结果显示,使用该应用程序后平均分数提高了30.50%,表明学生的汉字阅读技能显著提高。此外,学生对该应用程序的反应非常积极,问卷得分为82.6%,被归类为“非常有效”。Hanping中文词典应用程序有效地帮助学生识别汉字字符、理解拼音,并通过数字功能如笔画顺序、发音音频和例句丰富词汇。这些发现与各种关于学习有效性和阅读技能的理论一致,表明数字学习技术的整合可以增强外语教育,特别是在阅读汉语汉字方面。
