Abstract

Raden Rara Sri Harnawati : Hubungan antara Lingkungan Kerja dan Motivasi dengan Kinerja Guru Lokal Di Global Jaya International School Bintaro Tangerang. Tesis, Jakarta: Program Pascasarjana Universitas Kristen Indonesia. Jakarta 2013 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara Lingkungan kerja dan Motivasi dengan Kinerja Guru Lokal di Global Jaya International School (GJIS) Bintaro Tangerang. Variabel bebas yaitu Lingkungan Kerja (X1) dan Motivasi (X2) sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah Kinerja Guru (Y) Penelitian secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian sejumlah 87 orang guru.Sampel penelitian berjumlah 70 orang guru dengan uji sampel sebanyak 17 orang guru diambil secara acak dari guru-guru lokal di Global Jaya International School (GJIS) Bintaro Tangerang. Instrumen yang digunaan sebagai alat pengumpul data terdiri dari 38 pernyataan Variabel X1, 36 pernyataan variabel X2 dan 38 pernyataan untuk variabel Y. Pada perhitungan validitas dan reliabilitas instrument menggunakan teknik korelasional dengan rumus korelasi product moment dan uji reliabilitas dengan rumus Alpha Cronbach diperoleh instrument yang valid dan reliabel variabel X1 32 butir, variabel X2 33 butir dan variabel Y 33 butir. Data berasal dari populasi yang berdistribusi normal, linier dan homogen Pengujian hipotesis 1 diperoleh thitung 3.635 ˃ ttabel ( 1,996) dan nilai probability (sig) sebesar. 0, 001 ˂ taraf signifikan 0,05 maka terbukti bahwa hipotesis Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Ini berarti hubungan kedua variabel tergolong cukup kuat. Hipotesis 2 diperoleh thitung 4.212 ˃ ttabel ( 1,996) dan nilai probability (sig) sebesar 0,000 ˂ taraf signifikan 0,05 maka terbukti bahwa hipotesis Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima ini . Ini berarti hubungan kedua variabel tergolong cukup kuat. Hipotesis 3 diperoleh Fhitung 16.306 ˃ Ftabel sebesar 3,982 dan nilai probabilitas signifikan (sig) sebesar 0,000 ˂ taraf signifikan 0,005 maka kesimpulan hipotesis Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima dapat itu berarti terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Lingkungan kerja dan Motivasi dengan Kinerja Guru lokal di GJIS Bintaro, Tangerang. koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,572 yang tergolong hubungan yang cukup kuat Dengan koefisien determinan sebesar 0,327 yang berarti 32,7 % variasi yang terjadi dalam peningkatan kinerja guru dipengaruhi oleh Lingkungan kerja dan Motivasi secara bersama-sama, Lingkungan kerja yang baik dan Motivasi yang tinggi akan menjadikan Kinerja Guru menjadi lebih baik. / Raden Rara Sri Harnawati : The Relationship Between The Work Environment And Motivation With The Local Teachers’ Performance In Global Jaya International School, Bintaro, Tangerang. This study aims to determine The Relationship Between The Work Environment And Motivation With The Local Teachers’ Performance In Global Jaya International School (GJIS) Bintaro Tangerang. Workplace independent variable (X1) and motivation (X2) while the dependent variable is the Teacher Performance (Y) Descriptive studies using correlational approach. The study population of 87 teachers.Sampel of 70 teachers with a test sample of 17 teachers were drawn at random from the local teachers at Global Jaya International School (GJIS) Bintaro Tangerang. The instrument that is used as a data collection tool consisted of 38 statements of Variables X1, 36 statements of variable X2 and 38 statements for the variable Y. In the calculation of the validity and reliability of the instrument, it used the correlation techniques with a formula of the product moment correlation and the reliability test by Cronbach Alpha formula, which obtained a valid and reliable instrument of 32 points variables X1, 33 points of variable X2 and 33 points of variables Y. The data comes from a normally distributed population, linear and homogeneous Examination of hypothesis 1 obtained tcalculation 3.635 ˃ ttabel ( 1,996) and the probability value (sig) is equal with 0, 001 ˂ significant level 0.05 and then proved that the hypothesis Ho is rejected and H1 accepted. This means that the relationship between the two variables is quite strong. Examination of Hypothesis 2 obtained tcalculation 4212 ˃ TTable (1.996) and the probability value (sig) of 0.000 ˂ significant level of 0.05 and then proved that the hypothesis Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that the relationship between the two variables is quite strong. Examination of Hypothesis 3 obtained Fcalculation 16,306 ˃ Ftable is equal with 3.982 and the probability value of significant (sig) is equal with 0.000 ˂ the significant level of 0.005. Therefore it is concluded that the hypothesis Ho is rejected and H1 accepted. It could imply that there is a positive and significant relationship between Work Environment and Motivation with local Teachers’ Performance in GJIS Bintaro, Tangerang. Correlation coefficient of 0.572 are considered having strong relationship which has determinant coefficient of 0.327, which means 32.7% of the variation that occurs in the improvement of teachers’ performance are influenced by the Work Environment and Motivation together. Good working environment and a high motivation will make the teachers performance become much better.
