Abstract
Marito Fridesti, Evaluasi Kebijakan Tentang Pengelolaan Program Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Character Building di SMP Methodist Jakarta Utara, 2017. Pendidikan karakter merupakan bagian penting dalam setiap proses pendidikan karena pendidikan selalu berkaitan dengan proses pembentukan manusia. Dengan tindakan mendidik, manusia mewariskan kepada generasi berikutnya nilai-nilai yang berharga bagi perkembangan dan pertumbuhannya sebagai individu dan anggota masyarakat. Penelitian mengenai Evaluasi Kebijakan Tentang Pengelolaan Program Pelaksanaan Pendidikan Character Building (CB) bertujuan untuk (1) mengevaluasi ketercapaian program pendidikan Character Building di SMP Methodist. (2) Untuk mengetahui apakah program yang dirancang sudah memenuhi kebutuhan siswa SMP Methodist. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan foto. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : (1) Perencanaan program CB sudah cukup baik namun ada 3 tema yang tidak didapatkan oleh siswa selama belajar di SMP Methodist. (2) Pelaksanaan program CB sudah baik dimana apa yang dibuat pada rencana program CB terealisasi atau terlaksana dengan baik. (3) Evaluasi program CB dilakukan dengan evaluasi formatif dilaksanakan sebulan sekali dan evaluasi sumatif yang dilaksanakan pada akhir semester. Character education is an important part of every educational process because education is always concerned with the process of human formation. By educating, human beings pass on to the next generation valuable values for their growth and development as individuals and members of society. Research on Policy Evaluation About Management of Character Building Implementation Program (CB) aims to (1) evaluate the achievement of Character Building education program in SMP Methodist. (2) To find out whether the designed program meets the needs of Junior Methodist students. The type of research used is qualitative description. Data collection is done by observation, interview, documentation, and photo. Data analysis is done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed that: (1) CB program planning is good enough but there are 3 themes that are not obtained by students while studying in Junior Methodist. (2) The implementation of the CB program is good where what is made in the CB program plan is realized or implemented properly. (3) CB program evaluation is conducted with formative evaluation implemented once a month and summative evaluation conducted at the end of semester.
