Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan Keterampilan Manajerial Kepala Sekolah dan Motivasi Kerja secara sendirisendiri maupun bersama- sama dengan Kinerja Guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Kecamatan Baguala Kota Ambon “ Variabel bebas dari penelitian adalah Keterampilan Manajerial kepala sekolah (X1) dan Motivasi kerja (X2). Variabel terikat adalah Kinerja Guru. Metode penelitian adalah survey dengan pendekatan kerelasional. Alat pengumpulan data yaitu model Likert dengan skala 1-5. Sampel yang dipilih secara acak dari jumlah populasi 134 orang guru. Teknik Sampling adalah secara acak,. Setelah itu teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi sederhana, korelasi ganda, regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian hipotesis : Pertama, diketahui dari koefisien korelasi antara keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru; r = 0,906 dan korelasi determinasinya (r2 ) = 0,822 serta persamaan regresinya Ŷ = 16,615 + 0,984 artinya hubungan keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah dengan kinerja guru memberikan tingkat hubungannya kuat. Kedua, Koefisien korelasi antara motivasi kerja dengan kinerja guru; r = 0,906 dan korelasi determinasinya (r2 ) = 0,820 serta persamaan regresinya Ŷ = 27,191+ 0,0,998 artinya hubungan motivasi kerja dengan kinerja guru memberikan tingkat hubungannya kuat. Ketiga, terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja bersama – sama dengan kinerja guru. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari koefisien korelasi r = 0,920 dan korelasi determinasinya (r2 ) = 0,847, dengan Fhitung = 262, 717, persamaan regresinya Ŷ = 16,401 + 0,505 (X1) + 0,508 (X2) artinya hubungan keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja guru memberikan tingkat hubungannya yang kuat dan berarti bagi penciptaan kinerja guru. Kesimpulan adalah bahwa antara keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama dengan kinerja guru di sekolah menengah pertama kecamatan Baguala Kota Ambon, terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan, oleh karena itu dalam memacu peningkatan kinerja guru sangat berhubungan dan signifikan dengan kedua variabel yang diteliti, sekalipun masih terdapat faktor-faktor yang lain Kata kunci : Keterampilan Manajerial Kepala Sekolah, Motivasi Kerja, Kinerja Guru. / The purpose of this research was to know a correlation between principals’ managerial skill and working motivation by itself and altogether with teachers’ performance of Junior High School teachers in Baguala Sub-district in Ambon City. Independent variable of the research is principal’s managerial skill (X1) and working motivation (X2). Dependent variable was teachers’ performance. The method of the research was survey by using correlation approach. The tool of collecting data was Likert scale model with ranged from 1 to 5. The sample was chosen randomly 105 from the population 134 teachers. The sampling technique was used randomly. Then, data analyzed technique used were simple correlation analysis, double correlation analysis, simple regression and double regression analysis. The results of the hypothesis were Firstly, it was known from correlation coefficient between principal’s managerial skill with teachers work performance; r = 0,906 and determination coefficient (r2 ) is 0,822 and its regression equivalent Ŷ = 161,615 + 0,984 (X1) meant the correlation between principals managerial skill and teachers work performance was very strong and significant. Secondly, coefficient correlation between motivation and teacher work performance, r = 0,906 and determined coefficient (r2 ) = 0,820, with regression equivalent Ŷ = 27,191+ 0,998 (X2) meant correlation of working motivation with teachers’ work performance gave stronger level. Thirdly, there was positive and significant correlation between principal’s managerial skill and work motivation together with teachers work performance. It could be known from coefficient correlation r = 0,920 and determination coefficient (r2 ) = 0,847 with the result of Fcount = 262,717 and its linear regression equivalent Ŷ= 16,401 Y + 0,515 (X1) + 0,508 (X2) which meant that principal’s managerial skill (X1) and work motivation (X2) altogether with teachers’ work performance contributed significantly toward teachers’ work performance. The conclusion that there is a positive and significant correlation of the principals’ managerial skill and work motivation altogether with teachers work performance in junior high schools in Baguala Sub-district. Therefore, in increasing teachers’ work performance, they are influential to each other of two variables searched, even though there are others factors.
