Abstract

Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen yang bermutu dimulai dari proses pembelajaran yang bermutu. Proses pembelajaran yang bermutu sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor guru. Permasalahan terjadi ketika guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen tidak berhasil dalam proses pembelajaran akibat dari penggunaan metode yang monoton, pembelajaran yang berpusat kepada guru, ketidakmampuan guru dalam mengadaptasi perkembangan zaman dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal ini mengakibatkan peserta didik tidak mengalami pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, kreatif, inovatif dan komunikatif. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan cara untuk dapat meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Google Classroom dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran sehingga peserta didik dapat mencerna materi dengan efektif, interaktif, produktif, inspiratif, konstruktif dan menyenangkan sehingga terjadi peningkatan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan implementasi Google Classroom dapat meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di SMP Tunas Harapan Nusantara. Peningkatan mutu terlihat melalui proses observasi dalam proses pembelajaran, wawancara terhadap lima responden dan hasil Penilaian Tengah Semester peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Tunas Harapan Nusantara Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 41 peserta didik dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata delapan puluh dan sebanyak delapan puluh persen (33 peserta didik) memperoleh nilai diatas Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yaitu 75. Impelementasi Google Classroom dalam pembelajaran diperlukan adanya ketersediaan perangkat dan jaringan internet dengan baik. Selain itu, pengawasan guru dan orangtua menjadi bagian yang sangat penting ketika peserta didik menggunakan Google Classroom dalam pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Agama Kristen, Google Classroom, Peningkatan mutu. / The quality of Christian Education Learning begins with a quality of learning process itself. Quality learning process is strongly influenced by the teacher. Problems occur when teachers of Christian Education are not successful in the learning process because of the monotonous method, teacher-centered learning, and the inability of teachers to adapt the development of new era in learning process. As the result, the learners haven‟t experienced of fun, creative, innovative and communicative learning. Therefore, we need a way to improve the quality of Christian Education. Google classroom can be used as one of the ways in learning process so that learners can get and undertsand the materrial effectively, interactively, productively, inpiratively, constructively and fun, so that there is improvement of learning quality in Christian Education. This research is a „qualitative research‟ with descriptive design. The results of research showed that Implementation of Google Classroom can improve the quality of learning Christian Education in SMP Tunas Harapan Nusantara. Improvement of quality has been seen through the observation in the learning process, interviewed of five respondents and the result of Mid Test grade VII of 41 students in SMP Tunas Harapan Nusantara academic year 2017/2018 with the average is 80 and as much as eigthy percent or 33 students who got above the Standar Minimum of score or above 75. Google Classroom implementation in learning required the availability of device and internet network well. In addition, teacher and parents‟ controlling is a very important part when leraners use Google Classroom in learning. Keywords : Christian Education, Google Classroom, the quality improvement.
