Abstract

Cemas adalah respon terhadap situasi tertentu yang mengancam dan merupakan hal normal yang dialami oleh manusia. Namun ketika cemas terjadi terus-menerus maka hal ini menjadi gangguan cemas. Cemas disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor internal dan eksternal. Pegawai pemasaran dan penjualan pada perusahaan asuransi mengalami cemas, salah satunya dapat diakibatkan oleh tuntutan pekerjaan yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat cemas pada pegawai pemasaran dan penjualan di PT. X. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 62 responden ditentukan menggunakan rumus Slovin. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner Zung SelfRating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS) dan dianalisa dengan analisis univariat untuk melihat tingkat cemas responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 34 responden (54.8%) mengalami cemas normal, 21 responden (33.9%) mengalami cemas ringan, 7 responden (11.3%) mengalami cemas sedang, dan tidak ada yang mengalami cemas berat. Untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan menggunakan metode penelitian yang berbeda dan analisa yang lebih baik lagi. Kata kunci: Cemas, Pegawai Pemasaran dan Penjualan, ZSAS. / Anxiety is a response to certain situations that threaten and is a normal thing experienced by humans. However, when anxiety persists, it becomes an anxiety disorder. Anxiety is caused by various internal and external factors. Marketing and sales staff at the insurance company experience anxiety, one of which can be caused by the demands of the existing job. This study aims to determine the level of anxiety on marketing and sales employees at PT. X. This research uses descriptive research design with quantitative cross sectional approach. The sample size of 62 respondents was determined using Slovin formula. Data were collected using the Zung SelfRating Anxiety Scale (ZSAS) questionnaire and analyzed by univariate analysis to see the anxiety level of respondents. The results showed 34 respondents (54.8%) experienced normal anxiety, 21 respondents (33.9%) experienced mild anxiety, 7 respondents (11.3%) experienced moderate anxiety, and none experienced severe anxiety.
