Abstract

In December 2019, first mysterious pneumonia case was reported on Wuhan, Hubei Province. Based on obtained information, the first case associated with fish market in Wuhan, and five cases were found with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). These cases continue to rise, which began on December 31st 2019 to January 3rd 2020 with 44 cases found. The purpose of this research is to know the description and the correlation between the levels of leukocytes with the value of the rRT-PCR COVID-19. The method of this research is using descriptive design linear regression analysis, bivariate with cross sectional approach using patients’ medical record. Researcher obtained 77 samples of patients who conducted the examination of the rRT-PCR COVID 19 at one hospital in East Bekasi, West Java. The results of this study showed a significant correlation between the levels of leukocytes with the results of the examination of the rRTPCR COVID-19 (P=0.01) and decreased levels of leukocytes at the beginning of the examination of the rRT-PCR (R= -2, 92).
