Abstract

Kepercayaan diri adalah kemampuan dan keyakinan yang ada di dalam hati sesorang. Bullying verbal adalah suatu tindakan atau perilaku yang sering terjadi di lingkungan kehidupan sehari-hari karena perilaku bullying verbal ini merupakan suatu perilaku yang bisa dibilang perilaku yang biasa-biasa saja tetapi disisi lain dapat membuat seseorang merasa minder dengan dirinya sendiri dan tidak percaya dengan dirinya sendiri. Ketika korban bully mendapat support sosial tinggi dari lingkungan sekitarnya, mereka langsung menerima bantuan dari orang lain dalam bentuk kasih sayang, kepercayaan, kepedulian, rasa syukur, dan nilai-nilai positif. Sedangkan jika, korban bullying yang mendapat dukungan sosial rendah di lingkungan sosial akan merasa kesepian, takut mendapatkan perilaku bullying lagi, kecewa dan diabaikan oleh orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan bullying verbal dan tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa yang menjadi korban SMAN 42 Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah korelasional Kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji statistik data yang diperoleh, data bullying verbal dengan kepercayaan diri siswa dinyatakan tidak berdistribusi secara normal karena berdasarkan uji normalitas diketahui bahwa nilai P-value of Shapiro-Wilk pada variabel bullying verbal < 0,001, sedangkan nilai P-value of Shapiro-Wilk pada variabel kepercayaan diri 0,49. Berdasarkan data tersebut diketahui bahwa data pada variabel bullying verbal < 0,001 maka dikatakan tidak terdistribusi normal. Dan dilakukan uji korelasi non parametrik karena salah satu data tidak normal. Nilai P-value Sperman’s rho 0,37 ( P < 0,05 ) dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0,05 maka dapat dikatakan bahwa variabel bullying verbal tidak berkorelasi dan tidak signifikan sehingga Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak. Dapat dijelaskan bahwa semakin tinggi kepercayaan diri siswa maka bullying verbal semakin rendah dan sebaliknya semakin rendah kepercayaan diri siswa maka semakin tinggi bullying verbal. / Self-confidence is the ability and belief that exists in a person's heart. Verbal bullying is an action or behavior that often occurs in everyday life because verbal bullying is a behavior that can be said to be normal behavior but on the other hand it can make someone feel inferior about themselves and not believe in themselves. When victims of bullying receive high social support from the surrounding environment, they immediately receive help from other people in the form of love, trust, care, gratitude and positive values. Meanwhile, victims of bullying who receive low social support in the social environment will feel lonely, afraid of experiencing bullying behavior again, disappointed and ignored by other people. This research aims to see the relationship between verbal bullying and the level of self-confidence of students who are victims of SMAN 42 Jakarta. The method used in this research is quantitative correlational. Based on the results of statistical test calculations on the data obtained, the data on verbal bullying and student self-confidence were declared not to be normally distributed because based on the normality test it was found that the P-value of Shapiro-Wilk on the verbal bullying variable was <0.001, while the P-value of Shapiro-Wilk Wilk on the self-confidence variable is 0.49. Based on this data, it is known that the data on the verbal bullying variable is <0.001, so it is said to be not normally distributed. And a non-parametric correlation test was carried out because one of the data was not normal. The Sperman's rho P-value is 0.37 (P < 0.05) with a significance level of 0.05, so it can be said that the verbal bullying variable is not correlated and is not significant so that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. It can be explained that the higher the student's self-confidence, the lower the verbal bullying and conversely, the lower the student's self-confidence, the higher the verbal bullying.
