Abstract

Stress merupakan sebuah kondisi yang mengakibatkan keseimbangan homeostasis di tubuh terganggu. Ketika tubuh terpapar oleh stressor, hipotalamus akan mempengaruhi pengeluaran katekolamin dari kelenjar adrenal. Salah satu katekolamin yang keluar adalah adrenalin. Adrenalin akan meningkatkan kontraksi kerja otot jantung, mendilatasi pembuluh darah dan meningkatkan glikogenolisis dan glukonegonesis yang menyebabkan kadar gula darah meningkat. Penelitian merupakan eksperimental analitik dengan menggunakan hewan coba berupa tikus Rattus norvegicus jantan, berusia 24 minggu, berat 250-300 gr dan sehat. Jumlah sampel 24 ekor tikus dan terbagi menjadi 4 kelompok, dengan 2 kelompok kontrol yang tidak diinjeksi adrenalin dan 2 kelompok perlakuan. Masing-masing kelompok perlakuan dibedakan antara hewan coba yang dipuasakan (P1) dan tidak puasa (P2) dan diinjeksi adrenalin 0,6mg/kgBB secara intraperitoneal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-test dan post-test dalam mengukur kadar gula darah tikus. Hasil uji statistik berupa one way ANOVA, didapatkan bahwa pada kelompok perlakuan terdapat perbedaan nyata (p<0,05) antara hasil pre-test dan post-test kadar gula darah. Kata Kunci: Adrenalin, Gula Darah, Stress. / Stress is a condition which cause a steady state in body distrupped. When body hit by a stressor, hypotalamus will send a signal to adrenal gland to produce cathecolamine. One of the cathecolamine is adrenaline. Adrenaline will increase heart muscle contraction, dilatation of blood vessels and increase glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis which make blood glucose increase. This is an experimental research with research subject are male Rattus norvegicus, 24 weeks, 250-300 gr and healthy. Total sample are 24 rats and divided into 4 group, with 2 group of controls which are not injected by adrenaline and 2 groups of treatment. Each groups of treatment will be differentiated between fasting groups (P1) and not fasting groups (P2) and injected by adrenaline 0,6 mg/kgBB via intraperitoneal. This research use pre-test and post-test methods in measuring the blood glucose level. The result of one way ANOVA, there is a significance different (p<0,05) between pre-test and post-test of blood glucose level. Keywords: Adrenaline, Blood Glucose, Stress.
