Abstract

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) adalah penyakit dengan gejala seperti flu yang disebabkan oleh infeksi virus dengue. Diagnosis DBD ditegakkan melalui pemeriksaan fisik, laboratorium, dan radiologis. DBD dibagi menjadi empat derajat keparahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kadar hematokrit awal dengan derajat keparahan DBD pada anak (0-18 tahun) di RSU UKI. Penelitian ini merupakan studi survey analitik menggunakan data sekunder rekam medik, dilaksanakan dengan desain cross-sectional, dan metode sampling consecutive sampling. Uji korelasi Kendall’s Tau dilakukan untuk mengetahui korelasi antar variabel. Pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS 23.0 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 105 pasien anak dengan DBD pada tahun 2013-2015, dan derajat keparahan yang paling banyak adalah grade III sejumlah 38 pasien. Terdapat hubungan peningkatan hematokrit awal dengan derajat keparahan DBD pada anak yang signifikan (p=0,000), dengan kejadian paling banyak terjadi peningkatan 5-10% dari kadar hematokrit normal. Kata Kunci: DBD, Derajat Keparahan DBD, Peningkatan Kadar Hematokrit Awal. / Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease with flu-like syndrome caused by infection of dengue virus. The diagnosis is based on physical examination, laboratory and radiology finding. DHF classified into four grading stage of severity. The purpose of this study is to understand the relation between initial hematocrit levels and the severity of DHF in children (0 – 18 years old) in Christian University of Indonesia General Hospital. This was an analytical survey using medical record as secondary data, conducted with cross-sectional design and consecutive sampling method. Kendall’s Tau correlation test was done to analyze the connection between variables. The processing of the data using SPSS 23.0 for Windows. This study shows in 105 children diagnosed with DHF during period of 2013-2015, grade III of DHF severity found most frequent with total of 38 patients. Correlation between elevated of initial hematocrit levels and the severity of DHF in children are found to be statistically significant (p=0,000), with the most frequent incidence is the increase of 5-10% of hematocrit from the normal levels.
