Abstract

Tonsilitis adalah peradangan pada tonsil palatina, dapat terjadi pada semua umur, terutama pada anak. Tonsilitis kronis sering terjadi usia 2-3 tahun dan meningkat pada anak usia 5-12 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan melihat Profil penderita tonsillitis di Rumah Sakit Umum Kristen Indonesia tahun 2011-2016 dilihat dari umur, jenis kelamin, keluhan utama, diagnonis medik, pemeriksaan fisik, dan penatalaksanaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif retrospektif populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien yang menderita Tonsilitis di Rumah Sakit Umum Universitas Kristen Indonesia pada tahun 2011-2016 berjumlah 100 pasien penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan oktober - november. Hasil penelitian didapatkan paien yang datang ke poli THT RSUKI tahun 2011-2016 paling banyak adalah pasien yang berusia dewasa umur 17-50 tahun (46,0%), berdasarkan jenis kelamin paling banyak perempuan 51 orang (51,0%), keluhan utama yang paling banyak sakit menelan 47 orang ( 47,0%), diagnosis medik paling banyak tonsillitis akut 76 orang (76,0%), pemeriksaan fisik T2-T2 40 orang (40,0%), penatalaksanaan medikamentosa lebih dindikasikan hasil berjumlah 93 orang (93,0%), sedangkan pada penatalaksaan operatif hanya berjumlah 6 orang (6,0%). Kata Kunci : Tonsilitis, keluhan utama, pemeriksaan fisik, penatalaksanaan. / Tonsillitis is an inflammation of the palatine tonsils, can occur at any age, especially in children. Chronic tonsillitis often occur 2-3 years of age and increases in children aged 5-12 years. This study examines the profile with tonsillitis at the General Hospital of the Indonesian Christian views from the 2011-2016 year of age, gender, major complaint, diagnosis medical, physical examination, and management. This study uses descriptive retrospective population in this study were all patients suffering from tonsillitis at the General Hospital Christian University of Indonesia in 2011-2016 amounted to 100 patient study was conducted in October - November. The result showed that comes to poly patient 2011-2016 year at most adult patients aged 17-50 years of age (46.0%), based on the sex of most women (51.0%), the main complaint most pain swallowing 47 (47.0%) of people, most medical diagnosis of acute tonsillitis 76 (76.0%), physical examination T2-T2 40 people (40.0%), more pharmacological management indication result amounted to 93 people (93.0%), whereas in the operative containment procedures only amounted 6 (6.0%).
