Abstract

Sarapan merupakan waktu makan yang cukup penting karena memberikan tubuh energi yang cukup untuk beraktifitas di pagi hari hingga siang hari. Status tumbuh kembang dapat digunakan sebagai indikator dalam menilai pertumbuhan seorang anak yang terbagi menjadi 3 komponen untuk penilaiannya, status gizi, sistem kognitif, dan sistem motorik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisa antara sarapan pagi dengan status tumbuh kembang anak sekolah dasar. Penelitian dilakukan secara cross-sectional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 88 orang. Subjek penelitian adalah anak sekolah dasar di SD Islam Al-Amjad, Kebayoran Baru. Hasil uji chi- square menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara sarapan pagi dengan sistem kognitif (p<0,05) tetapi tidak ditemukannya hubungan yang signifikan antara sarapan pagi dengan status gizi (p>0,05) dan sistem motorik (p=-). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tidak adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara sarapan dengan status gizi dan sistem motorik anak sekolah dasar, tetapi adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara sarapan dengan sistem kognitif anak sekolah dasar di SD Islam Al-Amjad. Kata Kunci: Sarapan, Kognitif, Motorik, Status Gizi. / Breakfast is quite important because it provides the body with enough energy to indulge in the morning until noon. Growth and development status can be used as an indicator in assessing a child's growth that are divided into 3 components for assessment, nutritional status, cognitive system and the motor system. This study was conducted to analyze the breakfast with the status of primary school children's growth. Research conducted cross-sectional with a total sample of 88 people. Subjects were primary school children in SD Islam Al-Amjad, Kebayoran Baru. The results of chi-square test shows that there is a significant relationship between breakfast with cognitive systems (p <0.05) but not finding a significant relationship between breakfast and nutritional status (p> 0.05) and the motor system (p = - ). The conclusion of this study is the absence of a significant relationship between breakfast and nutritional status and motor development of children of primary school system, but there is significant correlation between breakfast with primary school children’s cognitive system in SD Islam Al-Amjad Keywords: Breakfast, Cognitive, Motor System, Nutritional Status.
