Abstract

Kanker paru adalah masalah kesehatan karena masih banyak menyebabkan kematian. World Health Organization(WHO) melaporkan bahwa kanker paru merupakan penyebab terbanyak kematian pada tahun 2012. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan karakteristik kanker paru di Rumah Sakit PGI Cikini periode 2010-2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif retrospektif pada penderita kanker paru sebanyak 41 pasien di Rumah Sakit PGI Cikini periode 2010-2016. Dari penelitian tersebut didapatkan pasien kanker paru terbanyak pada usia 60-69 yaitu 17 pasien (41,5%), berdasarkan keluhan utama didapatkan keluhan sesak nafas sebanyak 18 pasien (43,9%), jenis kelamin terbanyak pada jenis kelamin laki-laki sejumlah29 pasien(70,7%), tingkat pendidikan terbanyak pada perguruan tinggi yaitu25 pasien (61,0%), tingkat pekerjaan yaitu padawiraswasta sejumlah16 pasien (39,0%), berdasarkan tahun kasus terbanyak ada pada tahun 2016 sejumlah8 pasien (19,5%), berdasarkan cara pengambilan sampel yaitu biopsi sejumlah 34 pasien (82,9%) dan berdasarkantipe diagnosis adalah tipe NSCLC sejumlah33 pasien (80,5%). Kata kunci : Kanker paru, karakteristik, prevalensi, profil. / Lung cancer is one of the leading cause of death in health problem. World Health Organization (WHO) reported that lung cancer is the major cause of death in 2012. The purpose of this study was to describe the characteristics of lung cancer at PGI Cikini Hospital 2010-2016. This study based on retrospective descriptive method using data of 41 patients of cancer lung at PGI Cikini Hospital 2010-2016. Research found the highest lung cancer patients at the age of 60-69 were 17 patients (41.5%), based on the main complaint, there were 18 patients (43,9%) with less breath complaint, the most sex were male gender with 29 patients (70.7%), the major education of patients were in university with 25 patients (61.0%), mainly 16 patients (39.0%) were entrepreneur, based on the year the most cases exist in 2016 with 8 of patients (19.5%), based on sampling method were biopsy with 34 patients (82.9%) and based on diagnosis most patients were NSCLC type as many as 33 patients (80.5%).
