Abstract

Benign prostate hyperplasia atau disingkat BPH adalah salah satu penyakit yang menyerang pria dimana pasien akan mengeluhkan kesulitan dalam miksi sebagai keluhan utama. Karena data prevalensi BPH di Indonesia masih sedikit, maka peneliti tertarik melalukan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil pasien BPH di RSU UKI pada tahun 2014-2016, berupa distribusi usia tertinggi dan terendah, indeks massa tubuh, distribusi pasien BPH dengan obesitas, distribusi pasien BPH dengan riwayat penyakit ISK,distribusi pasien BPH dengan DM. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi dokumen konten deskriptif rektospektif dengan menggunakan data rekam medik pasien BPH sebanyak 55 rekam medik sesuai dengan teori inklusi dan ekslusi. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil: usia tertinggi penderita BPH adalah 61-70 tahun (47,3%),skor indeks massa tubuh tetinggi pada pasien BPH adalah 18,2 -22,9 (38,2 %), pasien BPH dengan obesitas yang mengalami sebanyak 18 pasien (32,7%) dari total sampel, pasien BPH dengan riwayat ISK sebanyak 8 pasien (14,5%), dan pasien BPH dengan DM sebanyak 8 pasien (14,5 %). Kata kunci : BPH, usia, IMT, obesitas, ISK, DM, UKI. / Benign prostate hyperplasia, BPH for short, is one of the diseases affecting male in which the patient will experience difficulty in urinating. Although the cause of BPH is still unknown or idiopathic, there are several theories explaining the process of BPH. This study aims to find out the profile of BPH patients in RSU UKI in 2014- 2016, including distribution of highest and lowest of age, body mass index, distribution of BPH patients with obesity, distribution of BPH patients with UTI, distribution of BPH patients with DM. This study is retrospective descriptive content documentary study using BPH patient medical records. Records used are 55, in accordance to inclusion and exclusion theory. Results are as follows: highest age of BPH patients was 61-70 years (47.3%), highest body mass index score was 18.2-22.9 (38.2%), BPH patients with obesity was 18 (32.7%), BPH patients with UTI was 8 (14.5%), and BPH patients with DM was 8 (14.5%).
