Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara Motivasi dan Disiplin dengan Kinerja Guru Lokal di Global Jaya International School (GJIS) Bintaro Tangerang. Variabel bebas yaitu Motivasi (X1 ), dan Disiplin (X2 ). Sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah Kinerja Guru (Y) Penelitian secara deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan korelasional. Populasi penelitian sejumlah 87 orang guru. Sampel sejumlah 70 orang guru dengan uji sampel sebanyak 17 orang guru diambil secara acak dari guru-guru lokal di Global Jaya International School Bintaro Tangerang. Instrumen yang digunakan sebagai alat pengumpul data terdiri dari 40 pertanyaan variabel X1 , 40 pertanyaan dari variabel X2 , dan 40 pertanyaan variabel Y. Pada perhitungan validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan teknik korelasional dengan rumus Korelasi Product Moment dan uji reliabilitas dengan rumus Alpha Cronbach diperoleh instrumen yang valid dan reliabel variabel X1 35 butir, variabel X2 38 butir, dan variabel Y 33 butir. Data berasal dari populasi yang berdistribusi normal, linier, dan homogen. Pengujian hipotesis I diperoleh t hitung 6,68 ˃ t tabel 1,996 dan nilai probabilitas 0,000 ˂ taraf signifikansi 0,05, maka terbukti bahwa hipotesis H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini berarti bahwa hubungan kedua variabel tergolong kuat karena berada di rentang antara 0,600 – 1,00. Pada pengujian hipotesis II diperoleh t hitung 4,68 ˃ t tabel 1,996 dan nilai probabilitas 0,000 ˂ taraf signifikansi 0,05, maka terbukti bahwa hipotesis H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini berarti hubungan kedua variabel tergolong cukup kuat karena berada di antara rentang nilai 0,400 – 1,00. Pada pengujian hipotesis III diperoleh F hitung 27,56 ˃ F tabel 3,982 dan nilai probabilitas 0,000 ˂ taraf signifikansi 0,05, maka terbukti bahwa hipotesis H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal tersebut berarti terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi dan disiplin dengan kinerja guru lokal di Global Jaya International School Bintaro Tangerang. Koefisien korelasi ganda Motivasi (X1) dan Disiplin (X2) dengan Kinerja Guru (Y) didapat sebesar 0,672 dengan koefisien diterminasi (R square) sebesar 0,451. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Motivasi (X1) dengan Kinerja Guru Lokal di GJIS. 2) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Disiplin (X2) dengan Kinerja Guru Lokal di GJIS. 3) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara Motivasi (X1) dan Disiplin (X2) secara bersama-sama dengan Kinerja Guru Lokal di Global Jaya International School Bintaro Tangerang. Kata kunci : Motivasi, Disiplin, Kinerja Guru. / The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between Motivation and Discipline to The Local Teacher Performance at Global Jaya International School (GJIS) in Bintaro Tangerang. Independent variable is Motivation (X1), Discipline (X2) and the dependent variable is the Teacher Performance (Y). The assessment of descriptive studies is using the correlational approach. The study population consists of 87 teachers. The 70 teachers to the test of 17 teachers was drawn randomly from the local teachers at Global Jaya International School Bintaro Tangerang. The instrument that was use a data collection tool consists of 40 questions of the variable X1 40 questions of the variable X2 and 40 questions of the variable Y. In the calculation of the validity and reliability of the instrument using correlational techniques Product Moment Correlation formula and test reliability with Cronbach Alpha formula obtained a valid and reliable instrument variable X1 35 items, the variable X2 38 items, and variable Y 33 items. The data comes from a normally distributed population, linear and homogeneous. The testing of the hypothesis I were obtained from that t count 6,68 ˃ t table 1,996 and 0.000 probability value is ˂ significance level of 0.05, so it is proved that the hypothesis H0 was rejected and H1 accepted. When testing the hypothesis II obtained t count 4,68 .˃ t table 1,996 and 0.000 probability value is ˂ significance level of 0.05 it is evident that the hypothesis H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. When testing the hypothesis III obtained F count 27,56 ˃ F table 3,982 and 0.000 probability value ˂ significance level of 0.05 it is evident that the hypothesis H0 was rejected and H1 accepted. Motivation multiple correlation coefficient (X1) and Discipline (X2) with Teacher Performance (Y) obtained at 0,672 terminated coefficient (R square) of 0,451. This shows that: 1) There is a positive relationship between Motivation with Local Teacher Performance in GJIS. 2) There is a positive relationship between the Dicipline with Local Teacher Performance at GJIS. 3) There is a positive relationship between Motivation (X2) and Discipline (X2) together with the Performance of Local Teacher at GJIS Bintaro in Tangerang.
